Hampton Inn and Suites Houston-Katy

The bed,it seems, was just the boxed springs no mattress. Hard as a rock. Terrible to sleep, mot sleep, on.

We arrived early and were able to check in.

Stayed here for 2 weeks and the hotel was fine. I see there hasn’t been a review for over a year but I didn’t have issues with this hotel. Is it an upscale Hilton, no… but the room was clean and comfortable, the gym was small but had everything needed, the pool looked nice although I didn’t use it, and although I didn’t eat breakfast it looked like the options were good for all styles of folks. I want to give a special shoutout to Anna who is an absolute rockstar and treats the guest like family. Thank you Anna!! When in Katy I would stay there again.

Ana at the front desk was fantastic - quick, professional, friendly, courteous, well-spoken, helpful with local recommendations - the best of the best. My stay was an all-around delight.

All the staff at this property were very nice and welcoming. Breakfast provided was good enough to start the day. Room was ok but coulde be updated along with the bathroom.

To our pleasant surprise, they're in middle of renovating this location. So it was great inside... Outside, not so much. I'm sure they're working on it though. The place as a whole was a much beyond our expectations.

Very peaceful

The hospitality, shown to my brothers, was second to none. The room, the pool, the food and the great customer service, at ALL hours, was incredible. I felt bad sticking them in a hotel and it could not have worked out better.

I liked that the AC worked well, the room had recently been upgraded, a little "new" odor lingered, not great but livable. Beds were comfortable, I liked that the floors were wood, not carpet.

The fact that there was only one old elevator. I guess that might be ok since the hotel is only 3 floors, but if the hotel gets full, not going to be efficient. I didn't like that the remodeling on our floor was so dirty & dusty, that we had to walk past the mess every time we left our room & headed to the elevator. But I guess remodeling is always messy & inconvenient. Hopefully the end result will be an improvement.
