After a long, rainy drive from Pennsylvania to New York with unusually heavy traffic, it was a relief to arrive at a place that felt warm and welcoming. The front desk staff member who checked us in was especially friendly and made the process smooth. When we noticed that the light in our room wasn’t working, he immediately arranged for someone to fix it, which we really appreciated.

The furniture is outdated and visibly worn, and the entire space would benefit from a serious refresh. The bathrooms, in particular, would be much more practical and easier to maintain if they had walk-in showers instead of tubs. Additionally, unlike the neighboring hotel, this property lacks a covered porch or arrival area. As a result, if you arrive in the rain, your luggage will get wet, which is an avoidable inconvenience.

Cosy and spacious

Room too dimly lit even though all lightings were on. Heating system too noisy when working. Woke me up a few times in the middle of the night.

Their customer service is non-existent. I tried to cancel this 2 days before. Due to the impending snow storm, the soccer tournament we were supposed to attend on 1/24 was canceled. I called the hotel to cancel and they said they couldn't cancel it because it was booked through a third party. (Booking.com). I contacted Booking.com and they told me to reach out to the hotel to cancel it and they could probably make an exception. So I'm basically in a loop that no one wants to take responsibility for and I will be charged full price for the room I didn't use. Apparently booking.com contacted them on my behalf also and they have not responded.
