Wyndham Newport Hotel

Very clean, good location with pretty view. Also love the shuttle service to town.

My only tweak would be the style of the bed. It was very comfortable, but had a huge rim with sharp edges. Just weird. Other than that I really can’t say anything negative about it.

Lots of much better hotel options in Newport, so do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. We called in advance to ask specifically what the temperature of the indoor pool is typically set at and we were told 85 degrees. Either that was a complete lie, or they don't know how to gauge the temperature of their own pool. Nevertheless, the pool wasn't enjoyable for our family, especially our young kids. Also frustrating is that the bathrooms in the hotel rooms lack a shower door. Not even a shower curtain, so forget about a hot shower after using the cold indoor pool. Very strange. Never stayed in a hotel that didn't have shower doors or at a minimum a shower curtain. And no offsetting reduction in some of their other costs, like the resurant in the hole, of the room rate, etc. Waste of money to stay here.

I like the buffet breakfast and choice . I liked the courtesy bus service to the centre.

Stora fina rum med stort badrum. Jättesköna sängar. Bra med shuttle buss in till stan. Bra parkering vid hotellet

Fanns ingen safe på rummet. Dålig frukost. Inte värd att betala för.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. Convenient to visit the Newport mansions and shops, plus we visited Naragansett and Jamestown. Such a beautiful area!
