Chaba Cabana Beach Resort

Enjoyed our stay, only in for one night but we found the location good with a great outlook across the beach. The staff were lovely and hotel kept clean. Rooms are spacious and nice gardens. Breakfast was good with lots of choices.

Chaba Cabana is right on the beach. You can wade out 300m and only be shin-deep in water. The staff were friendly, and I got an upgraded suite. It had a sitting area and massive bed, plus 2 washrooms. Breakfast was quite diverse;. Bacon, pancakes, french toast, sausages, and made-to-order omelette. There were lots of cereal and pastries as well. It is at the northern end of Chaweng, but you can walk along the beach or catch a pickup truck ride into town. WiFi was great; no issues with reception at all. Great value for the money!

Pool was being renovated, which was the main reason why i chose the hotel in the first place, also hot water was not working, and front desk had no idea about restaurants in area.

Hotel pool has been closed for months but this is not on the website! The cleaning of the room was hit and miss with food and dishes left in the room for days. Breakfast was mediocre. Supposedly 4 dishes of fruit to choose from but most were empty and no more brought when requested. There was a very poor selection of hot food, basically eggs and bacon. There was cereal and toast but as I cant eat gluten, not much for me. Overall an extremely disappointing stay as I was looking forward to the lovely pool and nice buffet breakfast I had been told to expect. I will not return!

Chaba is a great location on chaweng beach- the most popular beach in samui known for its beach parties and ladyboy shows. Chaba was at the far end so we were far enough away from the action but It was great to walk down the beach to access the many beachfront bars and eateries each with their own vibe and decor and access to shopping and city life. I preferred lemai beach for swimming though as chaweng is not deep and can be hot like a bathtub We would stay again!

Booked 4 rooms for a family trip with kids. Breakfast buffet was very good. Pools were good, but kids pool quite small. Great location on the beach but stairs to beach need repairing. Staff were very friendly, helpful and great with the kids. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back here again. Thanks Chaba.

The hotel was great. Very clean and comfortable and they offered a great breakfast buffet. The hotel has a pool which is a major plus, however, the beach is very small. You need to walk a few minutes on Chaweng Beach in order to lay out on the beach. It’s also about a 5-10 minute ride into the city center where all of the stores and restaurants are located.

Hotel was clean, nice large pool and friendly staff. It was basic for a 4 star, room was too small for 3 people and the bathroom outdated

Excellent service! Would recommend! Everyone was so nice and helpful.

Spent a night passing thru to the other islands, very convenient to/from the airport and piers, a 20 min walk to party areas behind ark bar, great pool, great drinks, and always very good English speakers on hand. Staff very accommodating, all in all great spot, would definitely go back.
