The room felt calm, with soft lighting and a steady quiet that helped me breathe a little easier. The shower handle felt slightly loose, but it still worked fine.

The room felt calm and steady the moment I stepped inside. Everything smelled clean, and the quiet made it easy to relax after the drive.

The lobby had a warm scent of coffee and wood polish, and my room felt cool and fresh the moment I opened the door. The bed had that clean, crisp feel that makes you want to fall right in.

I liked how crisp the air felt when I stepped into the room, almost like stepping into a cool cabin. The sheets had a fresh cotton scent that made the bed feel inviting.

Room very clean and big. Bed soft and breakfast tasty. Nice people at front desk. The TV selection was small, but we spent most of our time swimming.

The gym was spacious and had everything I needed for a quick workout. Breakfast was fresh, with good coffee. Pool water was slightly cool in the morning, but fine once you got used to it.

A beautiful historical hotel with a lovely and very clean indoor pool and hot tub that are very unique! The staff was amazingly helpful, compassionate and kind. The fireplace in my room was a delight! Great location with Starbucks, groceries and restaurants nearby and also close to Wausau.

Feels stylish for its size and location. It’s a place that balances comfort with a bit of personality. Definitely recommend for small groups or couples wanting a local escape. The hallway carpet looked a little worn, though everything else was spotless.

We liked the location and breakfast was pretty good.

My three friends and I arrived and the whole place was very dark for a hotel. The lighting by the doors was so poor, we had to use our phone flash lights to type in the door code. We then also had to use our flashlights to go up the stairs to our room. So unsafe! Upon entering our room, we found a burnt out lightbulb on top of our towels in the bathroom (which we thought was strange). Then, our two bedroom cottage room was one bedroom and a privacy wall with a bed inside. We had trouble with the heat. I called down to the desk twice and didn’t get an answer. I slept with the covers over my head because I was so cold! The next day we woke up very stuffy with allergies and then noticed how dusty the room was (I have pictures). I went to the front desk and told the girl about our stay and she showed empathy and told me to call the manager later that afternoon. I left a message on her voicemail and never twos call back. I called the next day directly to the front desk and she answered. I told her the troubles with our stay and she didn’t seem to think the issues were very serious. She offered me 10% off our nights’ stay. I told her that didn’t seem like much with all our inconveniences, and she said 15% off was all she could do. She was rude and acted like I was an inconvenience to her. My friends and I were VERY DISAPPOINTED by what we thought was going to be an enjoyable girls night away at this hotel!!!!
