The hotel felt quiet and well managed. and the desk setup worked well for catching up on emails. The breakfast selection was simple, but everything was fresh and neatly presented.

Free waffle bar, timber-framed lobby smelling of cedar, live country set after dusk, and oversize hot-tub melted marathon legs.

Facilities hot-tub jets shut exactly 10 p.m., buzz-kill for night owls.

The breakfast was awesome and the staff providing it was exceptionally kind and personable.

The handle on the toilet was loose and almost inoperable. The pool area was so hot we didn’t swim even though we wanted to. In fact…it was downright dangerous.

Oversize gym held squat racks, loaner bikes hit river trail, and trivia night mixed locals with guests in laugh-heavy teams.

Pillows flatter than a cheese curd.

The breakfast was good! I love Belgian Waffles!! We had a truck with a boat, so it was great that parking wasn’t an issue.

Such a big beautiful place, that seemed so abandoned.

The bar was fun!

The pool was under construction-very excited for when it’s finished!

comfy room w/ balcony, garden seating, and a chill bar to end the night.

check-in felt a tad rushed, polite still.

Vaulted loft suite felt like a pine cabin, and the kids cannonballed for hours in the area’s biggest indoor pool before folky live tunes in the bar.

hot-tub jets cut off strictly at 10

Balcony view of snow-tipped pines, full kitchen for mac-and-cheese, and lobby staff stashed our boards till first lift at Granite Peak.
