Gran Evenia Panama

Gran evenia location is superb in the center of the shopping and restaurant also it was easy for transport especially public transport. The staff was incredibly friendly even the custodians that clean the rooms. The front staff and the door men was excellent in the way the carried themselves diligently of the work that they do. Let me not forget the restaurant staff also willing to assist when asked. Errors were not the people but the building its becoming erode by wood lice please attend to it before it gets to late. And also when the cleaners came to clean they forget to sweep the wood lice from the doors

Misleading Description and Poor Service I was very disappointed with my stay at Hotel Gran Evenia in Panama City. The hotel advertised a pool, which turned out to be closed with no prior notice—a major letdown since it was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. When I raised the issue, the staff told me they would assist me, but then simply left for lunch and never followed up, while I waited for them. Their attitude was unhelpful and dismissive, and despite several attempts to contact them again, I never received any response. This experience fell far short of what any guest should expect. I would not return and do not recommend this hotel.

Would definitely stay here again. Rooms were pretty & comfy, parking was convenient, and breakfast was the cherry on top

We enjoyed 3 days at this lovely hotel. The breakfast was lovely . The resteraunt service is good the chef messed up one night but we enjoyed other places. The pool is relaxing. Staff are very helpful. We will stay again as we visit panama city regularly.

... perhaps only a shower head that just wouldn't stay put. Seriously, great hospitality, nice professional service. Definitely recommended.

This place was “ok”. It is small. We accessed our room from the outside hall so it felt a little downmarket/motel-ish. The decor is retro so the hotel feels updated. It is cute inside and the food is good. It was tough to get an extra pillow. The pool was CLOSED at 7pm on Friday night so the kids never were able to play in the pool. It wasn’t awful but we will not stay here again.

Check in was good room is clean comfortable. Breakfast was good ! Dinner was sad ordered the most expensive angus steak Not good !! Was neither Angus steak or cooked medium rare. Toughest peace of meat ever . We come to panama city for fun after 5 months living here. Expected a good quality . Service is good. When we complained they said would pass it off to manager. I mean if you advertise Angus steak and dont have it in stock say so. Offered us a free desert but passed. Two more night stay here so will try different resteraunts in the area.

I loved my stay at this hotel. Modern and clean. Front desk representative Roberto was extremely helping in guiding us on how to navigate Panama City. We did a two City vacation so for three days we were in Gran Evenia Panama City and four days at Gran Evenia Bijao. Our package at Gran Evenia Panama City came with breakfast it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. There are a few fast food restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Our first night we went to Don Lee reasonable priced and the food was good. There is also a McDonald's, Wendy and a Subway close by. Speaking of subway the Metro station El Carmen is also within walking distance. Get a pass and load it .35 cents per ride even though we only used Uber. I highly recommend using Uber because it is way cheaper than taxi. We went to old Panama city for just $4. Overall I would definitely recommend Gran Evenia to other travelers.

O hotel tem uma estrutura ótima e moderna. Mas o atendimento é péssimo. Ao iniciar pelo recepcionista nada simpático. Estive três dias no hotel e meu quarto não foi limpo nenhuma vez. Reclamei no primeiro dia que não tinham limpado. Depois reclamei novamente no segundo dia e nada. Chegou ao absurdo de pedir papel higiênico e não mandaram e minha esposa teve que ir na recepção pegar. O lixo tivemos que recolher e deixar no corredor e ficou um dia lá. O café da manhã vai até às 9h30 e eles recolhem as coisas nesse horário. No café falta tudo, a equipe não consegue repor as coisas. Tem que toda hora pedir algo, tipo: não tem mais suco, não tem mais leite, tá faltando talher....Todos os dias ocorreram isso. O que posso elogiar foi o carregador de malas que foi simpático conosco todo o tempo e o restaurante do Rooftop que fica no hotel. É nítida a falta de gerenciamento da equipe desse hotel.
