Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Tifton

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great! Restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly. Conveniently located right off 75.

Parking limited. Busy traffic getting out.

Good location for a quick overnight stay. Hotel is a little outdated but served its purpose for our family. Breakfast was as expected for most hotels. Only downfall was the yogurt was expired..

This is a bare-bones hotel. Frankly, because it was more expensive than the Fairfield in Knoxville that I stayed in the night before, I expected a little posh. There were several homeless people wandering the area as I pulled in, so I was concerned about my vehicle all night. My room and the common areas seemed clean enough, but this hotel is well worn. Room amenities included one bar of soap and an extra roll of toilet paper. All this said, there’s no excuse for watery coffee. I will not return!

Location was fine. Conveniently off the expressway. Lobby seemed nice and inviting. Room did not meet expectations. We walked in and it smelled like men’s cologne which cleared quickly. There was floss left on the made bed. Bed comfort was okay. There was also an empty bottle of wine on the floor. The bathroom floors were disgusting. They didn’t look clean and there was urine on the floor around the base of the toilet. The bathroom also had something splattered on the wall. Also some type of black growth above the window. Lastly while trying to sleep when the heat turned on it was making a loud obnoxious noise which was making it difficult to sleep. We had to turn it off or else we wouldn’t have. I would never stay here again.

Stayed in Room 203 during a recent visit, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. The room had a noticeable odor when we arrived, and the air conditioner made loud knocking sounds that made it hard to sleep unless we turned it off — not ideal in Georgia’s heat. The amenities felt underwhelming. The coffee labeled “bold” tasted more like lightly tinted water, and the breakfast area had a large tip jar that felt a bit out of place. Parking was tough too — every spot was taken, and we had to circle for a while before finding one. Inside the room, the outlets were loose enough that charging devices was tricky, and the bathroom floor didn’t look clean. No complimentary water was provided, which felt like a small but noticeable miss. The ice machine worked, but the elevator had a sign saying it was “functional but slow,” which kind of summed up the vibe. Our window looked out onto a dumpster, which didn’t help the overall impression. This location could be great with some updates, but as it stands, I’d recommend checking other options in the area if you’re looking for a more comfortable and hospitable stay.
