Location was perfect and that is why I selected it

Upon entering the room, I was disappointed to find that it was not properly prepared. The chairs were turned upside down, there was rubbish left on the desk, and overall the room did not appear ready for a guest. I was quite surprised by this, as I had been told the room was ready. When I returned to reception to raise this concern, I was again assured that the room was ready. After I insisted, another staff member was called to check. Instead of addressing the issue appropriately, I was told that since the room was technically clean, I should simply put things in order myself. I found this extremely awkward and unprofessional, as a room advertised as “ready” should not have items scattered around or require a guest to arrange it. My experience at reception was, regrettably, even more distressing. The staff member I encountered was rude and showed a complete lack of customer care. The interaction left me so upset that I actually cried and regretted not remaining in my Airbnb, where I would not have had to deal with such treatment. The situation with my Visa card and payment was repeatedly mishandled, despite my clear explanation that the bill had already been settled. I spent the entire day being sent back and forth with no resolution. It was only when her replacement arrived that the matter was resolved in less than ten minutes. This issue lasted from approximately 10:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., completely consuming my day. I had intentionally planned to spend that time exploring Halifax, but instead, the entire day was lost due to poor service and unnecessary delays. This experience was deeply disappointing and fell far below any reasonable standard of hospitality and customer care.

Never stayed for breakfast. Within walking distance of where we had to go. Parking available at the hotel.

The service was very nice. The room was amazing and clean. The complimentary breakfast is awesome with a good mix of variety foods.

I wish they stopped charging for parking.
