Perfekte Lage! Zu Fuß 5 min vom Bahnhof entfernt, 5 min vom Dom und von dort aus unmittelbar in der Altstadt Sehr nettes Haus, freundliche Mitarbeiter, alle sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, vor dem Eingang ein schöner Innenhof mit vielen Blumen

The residence of elderly people.

A pesar de ser una residencia de ancianos, puede estar a la altura de los mejores hoteles. Apartamento super amplio, super limpio. Y aún la diferencia de idioma las chicas de la limpieza estupendas. Los abuelos super majos y en recepción muy bien.

I've stayed in the Residenz am Dom Apartments twice. I chose to stay there due to the location near the main train station. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The balcony is large and has a table & chairs. The apartments seem very safe, the staff is nice, the unit was clean, and it's easy walking to most everywhere. The grounds are very nice, with gardens.

The beds, sofa, chairs and linens are extremely basic and not very comfortable. The kitchen has very little as well. The last time I was there it was extremely hot in Köln and the unit did not have AC or even a fan. It was sweltering inside the apartment. It's very close to the main police station, so it's constantly noisy with sirens. Sleeping with the windows open is impossible due to the noise.
