Celadon Beach Resort

I rented two condos. They were very nice and clean. The price was nice but the added fees were ridiculously high.

Very nice place. You have to pay for parking. Rates listed are deceiving, kind of like flights used to be. The service fee to the owner & such is just as much or more than the room! So what started out as $99 per night, ended up being $188 per night. THAT is deceiving.

We stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving and loved it! It is in a great location, the view from the balcony was spectacular, and the beach access was wonderful! It is a great getaway; close enough to everything you need, yet not too crowded.

Was good except front desk staff.. Th y were little rude.

Joe and I took my 87 year old Mom, and my 95 year old Stepdad, to Panama City for a vacation that otherwise they would not get. the Celadon is right on the gulf, and our view was spectacular! To get to the beach, you literally got on the elevator (we were on the 22nd floor!), rode it down to the beach level, and you were at the beach. We also enjoyed the pool and the hot tub at the Celadon. Our condo was clean; beautiful; comfortable; and just plain relaxing! Everything you need is there (dishes; pots and pans; coffee machine; washer and dryer; luxurious towels... Joy

I booked through hotels.com and chose Celadon because of the great deal. Overall, a pleasant experience. The view of the beach was great and the condo was spacious and clean. Access to the beach was super convenient and the pools and hot tubs were well maintained. With that being said, the particular unit in which we stayed was a little subpar. Needed painting badly. Carpets needed replacing. Mattresses were very uncomfortable... very hard. Some of the furniture was beginning to fray. Was decorated like a 1996 Kirkland's ad.... lots of plastic plants which had begun to break down and smell of petroleum. There were no instructions for wifi if any was avialabale for that unit, but I was luckily able to find an open network in the building to use. It appeared that unit has been rented for sometime with not much cosmetic upkeep over the years. Furniture on the balcony was minimal and aged. I had to reassemble the table in order for it to even sit on all four legs. I would definitely return to Celadon, however, I would not stay in 908 again.

The Wyndam Celadon is a very nice facility directly on the beautiful white sand beach of Panama City Beach. The location is at the far west end of the Panama City Beach hi rise condos and is somewhat away from the center of all the activities. We think this location is better than being "in the center of all action." The building maintenance workers were friendly and always greeted you with a big smile and a hello. The beach workers (kids really) seemed slightly dazed and confused about their jobs. From one day to the next they did not seem to know how the beach chairs and umbrella assignments were supposed to be handled. During the week we learned that one of the beach "workers" was not an actual employee. She was just there helping her boyfriend and was not very helpful. The office workers were also not very helpful. We could not figure out how to get on the internet from our room. When we requested help from the person on duty in the office, they were no help and claimed to know nothing about the wireless internet service. Later we came to learn that the wireless service for our room was not the one listed on the information provided to us at check in. We figured out on our own that the wireless system we could log onto with our assigned password was the one related to our room number, not the one listed on the check-in information. Over all, this is a great place to stay, but don't expect too much from the staff. Just remember it is a condo, not a luxury hotel.

Rooms needed deep cleaning. Very dusty. Comforter was dirty in master bedroom. Curtains were stained in bunk room. Bath tub was not clean. Lamps covered in dust. Furniture was old and stained. Condo 703

Nice check-in procedure, parking across the street seamless, facilities included tennis court, 2 swimming pools and incidental hot tubs, beach chairs and umbrellas easily accessed with friendly staff to assist. Staff we interacted with were very pleasant and friendly. In the unit, no TV's worked, didn't bother to call maintenance because we didn't care but they should have been working. Would have been nice to have more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 full bathrooms. Kitchen adequately stocked. Liked the 6th floor balcony and the beach day and night was fantastic. Didn't like the fact that we were at PCB for graduation (FSU) and it was "bike week". I wouldn't schedule bike week on the same week we honor graduates and post graduates but maybe seeing that will give the new graduates incentives...of course, the condo had nothing to do with that but a fair warning from someone might have persuaded us to skip the city altogether.

the place was very comfortable and nice, we had a rainy time unfortunately, i wish we could have check out later instead of 10 am
