Celadon Beach Resort

Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Parking, unloading and loading across the street was a bit inconvenient. Old box T.V.'s and no movie channels were unexpected. Furnishings were in need of care or replacement. Pillows were pancake flat. Cheaply stocked kitchen. My thought on the price is that it was overpriced by at least $50 a night after the additional $75 a night fee was added. I suppose the hidden cost is for the use of beach chairs and DVD accessibility. P.S. Try and avoid the hokey beach/tourist restaurants. Expensive and food....blahh, boring. Try asking a grocery store clerk where they go, they live there. Or fall back on a favorite chains. Many can be found at or near Pier Park.

The condo was very basic in appearance but served its purpose. We were in room 807 so decently high up. It had all the amenities you would expect from a condo, but certainly wasn't great decoration. It looked a little "sad" and in need of a makeover.

The apartment was spacious and furnished very nicely. It was immaculate and offered everything one would want. It would have been a plus if there was a lobby area that offered beverages (morning coffee) and snacks to purchase in addition to the full kitchen facilities in the unit. When visitors are only coming for a few days, one doesn't necessarily want to purchase coffee, filters, etc. This is only suggestion, not a criticism. We did not use the private bunk room or the sofa bed but certainly there was room for 4 more guests in addition to the 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. I highly recommend The Celedon in Panama City Beach, Florida.

I didn't have any problems checking in as some of the reviewers said. Our room was ready, there were plenty of baggage carts available, elevator wait wasn't bad at all. We had a 2bdrmn, very spacious. My biggest problem with this place were beds. Mattresses were really bad, squeaky and hard, my back was hurting by the morning, not something you expect on your vacation. Sofa mattress was almost non existent and sheets on bunk beds were dirty. Would consider finding some other place before this 1

Nice clean condo on the 7th floor. ALL condos are seafront facing with a balcony, which is nice. Spacious, two TVs, full kitchen, 2 baths, one MBR plus two bunk beds for the hallway (only good for kids). Two pools, small, but ok. Jacuzzi outdoor. BBQ possible but no seating area so you have to take your grilled stuff back upstairs. Direct access to beach with guaranteed umbrella and beach beds. Jetski and Hobie rental right there. Carpet and sofas are a bit smelly, but that's normal because of the humidity. Only way to avoid that would be leather sofas and floor tiles, which is in fact what I would do. Free, safe parking in the shade. 5 minute drive to pier and main shopping, entertainment area, but there is a convenience store in walking distance. Overall: good experience. I will try Destin, FL next, but in PCB this is a good choice.

never again expedia, will tell every one on face book

Front desk had a very poor attitude and didn't seem to appreciate the customer needing help. Had no electricity in the master bedroom nor did the blow dryer work in the bathroom. Washer was broke and required maintenance and had someone else's dirty linens left in it. The beds were completely worn out and seemed as if we were staying in a one star hotel. Have never slept on a more uncomfortable surface. Your beach employees always attempted to shut down the umbrellas and chairs early. Why have them there at 8 AM in the morning when no one is on the beach. Why not try to start them later and shutting down the chairs later?

The only thing is that there were no blankets to make up the sleeper sofa, just two sheets and two pillow cases. I was told I would receive some blankets but never did. I would recommend bringing your own blankets for your own comfort. Overall, we were very pleased with out stay and the condition of the room. We would definately recommend Celadon to anyone asking.

The hotel is close enough to drive to pier park and other attractions, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be peaceful. We checked in at 2 AM, and I was nervous about everything running smoothly because of the late check-in. Much to my happiness, chicken was a breeze!
