Sandals South Coast - ALL INCLUSIVE Couples Only

The service was amazing, the staff was very nice and we were always in a relaxed atmosphere perfect for our honeymoon

Overall experience at Sandals South Coast was pleasant. The beach front and restaurant options were an added plus. However. Staff attitudes and service were questionable at times. Yet, the entertainment staff went above and beyond to create a positive experience. The rooms were ok. They came with a pleasantly stocked refrigerator...... Nice! The biggest downfall to Sandals South Coast was the commute from MOB....... Rough ride. I was taken back by the option to pay for an excursion to another Sandals resort in Negril. I think there should be a better system in place to encourage and incentivalize guests. In closing, this property had a lot of cats, birds, sea gulls and peacocks that, at times, interfered with what might have been a nice meal.

I was skeptical of an all-inclusive vacation, mostly because I was worried it would be like cruise ship food. I was over-the-moon when the promise of Sandals came true. The food is a solid 4 out of 5 stars, all seafood is fresh catch, the flavors and dishes are exceptional. The booze is free-flowing and the bartenders are encouraged to make up fun drinks. You can have the vacation you want. Want to party - head over to the main pool, or one of the several bars with entertainment. The hosts keep things lively. Want to canoodle with your love? Every aspect of the layout is designed to encourage romance, but not in a cheesy way. The seating at every restaurant, for instance, is done so that every table has a beautiful view - whether of the beach, or the lux interiors of the restaurants and bars.

It was a wonderful Christmas spent in the luxury of Sandals. We couldn't have asked for more. Will hopefully return next Christmas.

Can t use the beach :(( too much seaweed!!! Disappointing!

My wife and I stayed at Sandals South Coast from October 29 – November 4. This was our third trip to South Coast and fifth trip to Sandals in Jamaica (two other times were at Sandals Ochi). We reserved a Penthouse Club Level room, but were delighted to be upgraded to a Junior Suite which offered an updated décor. All club level rooms include the Club Sandals Concierge service (they have an office in a nearby building where they will arrange reservations, print boarding passes and offer to help with anything you need), a stocked bar in the room with refrigerator and room service. We used many items in the refrigerator (beer, bottled water, juice, wine and champagne. It was restocked every day. We were checked in by McKayda in Club Sandals. She called several times during our trip just to ask if we needed anything. She also recognized us days after checking in and knew our names. She was very helpful and professional. Every part of the resort is kept up very nicely with well-tended gardens and constant cleaning, painting and maintenance. The flowers are spectacular. The beach is nearly a mile long and was never crowded during our stay. It is raked several times a day to keep it clean and inviting looking. The beachfront has been improved since our last stay. The Jerk Shack restaurant in on the beach (improved seating and the additional wait staff since last year) offers Jamaican jerk style chicken, pork and sausage – all excellent. The food is good at all of the rest

The resort was nice and the grounds were well kept. Service staff were friendly and seemed to appreciate our business. The stay could have been excellent except for several issues that added up. 1) Our room in the Dutch Village was outdated and not really beachfront. It was more beachview than beachfront. 2) They didn't honor the free YS Falls excursion that is advertised on the Sandals website for Club and Butler rooms. The guest manager (Shane) did not handle the situation as expected and didn't really seem to care that we were upset. 3) The dive shop was not well organized and equipment was outdated and in disrepair. 4) They did not recognize our anniversary after asking several times if we were celebrating anything during our stay. 5) The Sandals website boasts about premium liquors but several bars were out of certain liquors during most of our week stay.

I cannot give one complaint except the trip wasn't long enough for us. Staff, food, facilities were all amazing. Will certainly be going back. Although resort was apparently booked full, it was never overcrowded anywhere.

Was a very nice trip with most of the staff very friendly, the rooms were ok but im not sure I would say value for money. The wifi is terrible and they charge a silly price to get premium wifi. We were in club level which has a few benefits but they did not seem to come through when needed. There was a lot of noise from construction work on the beach with new villas being built, beach being dug up, and drainage being maintained. Would I stay there again, probably not, would I do another Sandals, yes
