"I love Oban and the royal hotel is well located and has great staff but needs redecorating."

Great location, lovely and helpful staff and fine breakfast.

The rooms are a little careworn and could do with a little tlc. The TV in the room, while hardly crucial to my stay, kept cutting out on a lot of channels.
