We stayed in room 16. The tv had to be manually turned on and off. Not the end of the world but a remote that works with the tv would be more convenient.

GBEverything. Actually the location just outside of the historic part of Galena was perfect, the rooms were really comfortable and the staff genuinely friendly.
Breakfast was a bit of a 'bun-fight' but only because the breakfast room isn't really large enough for the size of hotel. Perhaps if they used smaller tables (the ones they use are too large) it would be better.
USThe view from our room was overgrown landscaping. No big deal. We're not in the room much.
USThis is the fourth year staying here and we love it. Karen took care of us at check in and let me tell you she is just amazing!!! She is one of the reasons we keep going back to this hotel. She makes you feel welcoming and she helps with any issues you have.

USManager was nice and informative. The staff at breakfast was absolutely lovely, she seemed like she really enjoyed her job and it was nice speaking with her. She kept everything clean and the food was good. The location was near a grocery store and restaurant so it was super convenient. The pool was spotless and decent size. Overall for the value and what we needed for the weekend, it was good 👍
