It was very cute and quiet. Decorated for Christmas.

The parking was a little tight but it worked

Can hear everything through the walls. When the wind blew the door would rattle and i would constantly wake up thinking someone was trying to come into my room. I get it’s an old building, but maybe upgrade the locks to make sure guests feel safe. The breakfast was also.. tiny but homemade.

Instructions are needed on how to use fireplace and heater.

Breakfast was ok, but compared to photos it was disappointing.

At 3 pm nobody was there for checkin. 15 min later somebody opened the door and gave us a hasty checkin, seemed in a rush. Breakfast from 9-10 is quite late. So we ate somewhere else. Upon checkout staff told us, that they could have organized earlier breakfast, too late. Spa bathtub did not work. No closet or dresser or anything to put clothes in.

The location was great. Within a few minutes walk to Old St. Augustine and historic sites, but away from the crowds and noise.

The rugs in the common area are in need of a cleaning, the formerly white tassels are dark and stained. The room was ok, not amazing, but the sheets were a polyester microfiber and it was SO HOT with those sheets. Neither of us slept well. The room was also really bright because of the a/c display. Probably not much can be done about that, though. The bathroom was in need of some new hooks and the drape decor was old and stained. Some of the holiday decor was also stained. There was also a box for gratuities but no one made the beds or straightened out the room. I paid about $500 per night and I’m not giving gratuities because the bed was made when I arrived. Also, one morning towards the end of breakfast, a staff member (the owner??) was chatting with a couple of guests and easily let the f-word fly. That was highly unprofessional and unappreciated. We were looking for a relaxing weekend in a beautiful bed and breakfast but we felt as though we could’ve had a better experience (and sleep) at a basic hotel for less than half of the cost.

Proximity to historic district, staff was nice.

Room # 7 smelled badly of mold and had visible black mold on the ceiling above the shower that had been painted over. Room made my husband and I feel unwell.

Everything, location how clean the room was and Maggie she was a great host, what a lovely lady and the breakfast was amazing
