The price was a little high but we understand as it was the nights of lights

Great location and super charming

I feel bad even saying this but if the food portions could be a little bigger. That’s my one note.

Location was good, felt safe and it was clean

You run out of hot water almost immediately when you first use the bath, because the hot water heater isn’t full. It would have been good to know that. Breakfast wasn’t very good either, they used cheap ingredients and could tell just made you something without much thought or care to make it taste good or present well. I didn’t enjoy the food at all, tasted like a bad cruise food to me and my husband who will eat anything. The cook was talking to us the whole time about having two jobs to pay her bills, although I understand that it made me uncomfortable. There was no bath soap or shampoo/conditioner etc for us to use like most of the B&B’s in the area have. All in all you can tell they go very cheap in everything they do. I had to bathe in cold water with hand soap to use to wash, no wash cloth! I wish I would have just stayed another night at the place we stayed it was truly magical with food that was over the top wonderful….but they were booked up. I can see why this place was not. I didn’t even take photos as nothing was really worthy of it but I did post a pic of the better place to stay if ever visiting this area!

The place looks charming from the outside, with a great location and convenient parking. The host was very kind and helpful.

The room felt outdated, dark, and in need of better maintenance. The bed wasn't comfortable, water pressure was low, and the towels were worn. We were given a room with some issues with the lighting and ceiling fan. We were offered a different one for an extra charge – we expected a complimentary switch in this case. Basic amenities like a kettle or bottled water were missing. Breakfast was poor – some fruit, cold scrambled eggs, and a pre-made pancake, with no bread, butter, jam, or cheese. *Bottom line:* It was dissapointiong and not a good value for money

Property was very clean. Location to downtown was very walkable which was important to us. Staff was super friendly and helpful with any needs
