Peace & Plenty Inn Bed and Breakfast Downtown St Augustine-Adults Only

The location is amazing. The property is unique.

The parking lot is very small. I also think tables , chairs, or benches would be nice near the outdoor fountain.

This property is absolutely charming! The staff member working during our stay (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name since we checked in late) was incredibly kind, knowledgeable about the area, and attentive to all the guests’ needs. Our room was adorable, though it was a bit warm—probably due to the AC unit, which might have been our fault. The area was peaceful and very walkable to the Historic District. We’d definitely consider staying at this bed and breakfast again in the future!

Location

The breakfast was TINY. I think they scrambled 1 egg each. The staff seamed rushed and constantly short. For a bed and breakfast the vibe was not very relaxing.

The Peace and Plenty house was so pretty. I especially liked it at night with the lights on. The location was great, you could walk to just about any attraction or restaurant you want. The bed was comfortable with very soft sheets. We stayed in the balcony suite #4. I loved sitting out in the mornings with a cup of coffee and the evenings with a glass of wine. Overall the place was nice, the staff were friendly and the place was peaceful. I did feel that the breakfasts could have been a little more creative and there were areas in the room that could have been cleaned better. There was toothpaste splatter on the ornate mirror frame in the bathroom, there was a jacuzzi tub, but I couldn't find a switch to turn it on, the toilet paper holder kept falling off, there were no lotions, shampoo or creme rinse provided and the tissue dispenser had 2 tissues. I requested clean towels and some tissues after 2 days. I was told they would get them but I got neither. I realize these are small inconveniences but I do feel they could improve to get a better rating.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. Lots of fresh coffee! Rooms were appealingly funky but very clean and well cared for. Quiet location but super close to town. We would definitely stay here again!
