Hotel Oceania Saint Malo

Lovely hotel right on a fabulous beach, yet really close to the walled town. Nice bar, does the best mojitos! All very clean, great shower and modern bathroom. Didn't have breakfast as it was overpriced

We loved the location and it was worth the extra cost choosing the sea view room with balcony. The staff were superb and helped resolve a conflict at checkin when we were assigned a room different than what we expected. Very clean and good use of space (luggage racks). Town center only minutes away. There was no longer any hotel parking available when we arrived but it's easy (and cheaper) to park on any street.

Excellent location. Staff were good. Underground parking was useful - not cheap at €20 per night but only a few Euros more than public parking nearby. And the room was nice too.

Modern hotel on St-Malo waterfront one side, and Port of St-Malo on the other. Room and hotel were clean. The rooms have modern glassed-in, open-concept bathrooms, which I don't like for lack of privacy. Old St-Malo "intra muros" is fabulously rich in history and definitely worth visiting.

Great location just outside the walls. Comfortable clean room with great modern look. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel and great sea views from some rooms. Our room had a balcony and a perfect view of the sea, which is why we chose the hotel. Balcony screens (separating the balconies) are glass, so not very private - but that was Ok. Also if weather is not so good the wind seems to flow down the balconies and can be a bit noisy. That aside, the room was lovely, very clean and with good facilities (tv, coffee machine, good shower (no bath)). Breakfast (at an extra charge) was good quality. The hotel has a nice lounge bar overlooking the sea, but doesn't have a restaurant - but as there are many restaurants all around the hotel it wasn't needed. Overall, the best things were: excellent staff (helpful and friendly), the location of the hotel (on the seafront and near the vibrant old town) and the sea view from the room. We would happily stay there again.

The hotel is clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were offered a choice of different rooms and allowed to look at them first before deciding. The hotel is right on the beach and a 5 minute walk from the beautiful old town. The wifi worked and there was self parking in the basement (€20 extra). I would happily stay here again.
