One member of staff was very abrupt when giving information, otherwise the other staff I came into contact with were professional, friendly, engaging and very accommodating. The facilities were excellent Jamaican night, the entertainment was very good and enjoyable

Felt the buffet style service requires some modification. Food that can be cooked to order should, for instance steaks cannot be cooked and left on hotplate as this would dry it out. There were other meats with the same results. Some guests prefer their meals hot. Often this was served at room temperature, the AC did not help. Some menus repetitive.

Breakfast was excellent every day, it was great having traditional Jamaican food every morning. Overall Riu exceeded my expectations and l look forward to returning soon.

There was no umbrella in my room, had to wait out the rain to have dinner. I was in building 4 so l had to wait a while.

"Great for someone who just want a quick getaway, but I would not return"

The resort did not have any towels. We had to wait two days for washcloths, and the staff was in very friendly. Iโ€™ve stayed at the other location and it was top-tier. This one was very mediocre. The food was good and the beach was nice

Breakfast was great, lots of choices, same for lunch and dinner, food tasted good. Location was lovely! Everything was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. Lovely beach with lots of sun loungers available. Rooms were very spacious and beds were really comfortable! Bathroom was nice too, with hair dryer and toiletries. Rooms have safe, iron and iron board and mini bar.

No elevators, so if you have persons in your party that have trouble climbing stairs you need to request a ground floor. If persons in your party are not so good on foot consider to carry a walker or wheel chair, as the distance from rooms to restaurants and entertainment area can be a bit far.
