Creta Royal - Adults Only

The hotel is located directly on the beach and it also offers 2 swimming pools, very nice place to spend a relaxing holiday. The price per value ratio was very good, both the breakfast and the buffet dinner were fantastic! At one of the evenings the staff organized a dinner at the pool with live music. It was incredibly beautiful! Room, facilities and the staff are also nice and helpful.

Everything was very good, the only missing point was that we had to go by car to find a promenade for walking.

4.5/5, All in all it was a really good holiday. On the food side there is plenty to choose, fresh and it tastes very well. Service and personal were the cherry on top, always friendly and happy to help with stuff even outside of the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Creta Royal Adults Only in Greece, and I must say that my experience was very good. The room at Creta Royal Adults Only was comfort , a decent-sized room with a nice balcony that offered a beautiful view of the garden, pool, and ocean. The bed was comfortable. The room was also equipped with air conditioning, which was much appreciated during the hot summer nights. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed, with a modern shower and ample counter space for my toiletries. Being an adults-only hotel, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the pool was kept clean and tidy. Unfortunately, due to the weather during my stay, I was unable to take a dip in the pool. However, the hotel has two pools, one with sea water and the other with soft water, which is great for guests who prefer a specific type of water. One of the best things about the Creta Royal Adults Only is the all-inclusive package. Everything is included, which makes it easy for guests to relax and enjoy their stay without having to worry about additional costs. The range of drinks on offer is impressive, and the food is diverse. Although I would have preferred more traditional Greek dishes, the variety of food on offer was still excellent. The waiters and restaurant manager, Nikolai, , the waiters Maria, and Labrina, and the server at the bar (I forgot to note her name) were outstanding. Overall, I would highly recommend the Creta Royal Adults Only to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay in Greece. The combination of excellent service, modern facilities, and stunning views make it the perfect destination for a great holiday.

The hotel grounds and greenery were extremely well kept up. The buffet breakfast and dinner exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was basic but internet was reliable. Television was mainly German with some Greek channels which makes sense as the majority of the guests were older Germans. The pretty beach was very accessible and swimmable,got lounger with no problems each day. Negatives- horrible smelling cleaning products used especially the lobby (overpowering) and the area around hotel is not very walkable.

We had booked a double room with sea view, based on online photos and reviews, and on an all-inclusive basis. When we arrived, we were given a newly refurbished/redecorated double room, with a sea view, and asked to provide feedback after our stay. This was a bonus. Their new room colour palette is now grey and white tones. Due to our very late arrival, sandwiches and fruit had been left in the refrigerator in our room, along with a bottle of local red wine. A nice touch. There were always going to be, of course, snags with a newly refurbished/redecorated room but, overall, the room was exceptional. It was clean, towels were changed daily, and the level of housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was good, with plenty to choose from, and food was topped up regularly. Staff were pleasant and attentive. When visiting the pool(s) or the beach, lifeguards were always in attendance. Bar service was excellent. Languages used were, mostly German, some French and, least of all, English, although always understood. Used the spa facilities - again, excellent staff rapport, and excellent service, although a little expensive. Part of the Aegean Star group, so glad we chose the Adults Only hotel. Their next-door hotel would not have suited our taste at all.

There were no obvious gluten or lactose free options available. Large bottles of water are not supplied, other than when you first arrive, rather a trip to the local village, a five-minute walk, to purchase six litre packs, cheaply. There are a lot of steps to negotiate getting around so, in my opinion, may not be conducive to those with severely impaired mobility.

Food Beach

Air conditioning system is very very old, without thermostat. You can control only fan speed, not temperature. All furniture is very old. Rooms need renovation.

In the advertising the beach was not described properly. It was very small ( maybe 10m)and not clean. Also if you’re looking for all inclusive it will be place for you. We wouldn’t have booked. No other negatives. The hotel is in great location.

A bit outdated, but overall a great property. We stayed for 3 nights. Had a bit of an issue with the bathroom flooding when we showered, not quite sure what caused it...I was also quite surprised that you can't get an iron if you need one. You can only use the hotel laundry services which of course will cost you. Excellent, quick and attentive service at the restaurant, the food was amazing both at breakfast and dinner! I quite enjoyed the stretching and aqua dance classes offered by the animation team from Forever Fun, but definitely recommend they use microphones when conducting them!
