Monterey Motel

The hotel was clean, well kept & right on the beach. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall our stay was a success & I would stay again.

We were very pleased with the Monterey Motel. We arrived early and were able to check in early. It was great having the motel right on the beach, and the pool area was nice for relaxation as well. The room was bigger than the picture, and we loved having a full kitchen and dining area so that we didn't always have to eat out. Owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was that we constantly had difficulty logging onto the free Wifi. When planning our vacation next year, we will definitely consider booking this motel again. :)

I needed a place to stay overnight and looked for a reasonable place. I was surprised that I had gotten an efficiency for the price of a single. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The deck at the end of the floor overlooked the ocean. I could see staying here for a week. It was very family friendly.

We went and had a great time despite the rain. the kids had a great time on the boards and got to spend a little time on the beach. The room was very nice and comfortable. the only complaints i had was the rain, 2 out of 3 days, and the shower had no water pressure, and the heater was not on in the pool yet so the kids could not swim.

This motel is CLEAN with no mildew smell, as others have. It is located on the beach, but it's a diagonal view not full front. Kitchen was spacious, decor old school & a bit worn. Two cons: 1. The pool was not heated. 2. The woman at the desk is chilly as well. Do not expect a warm welcome. A fine place for one night.

My husband and I were down Wildwood for the 50's weekend. It was our 40th anniversary. We have been going down for over 50 yrs. Montery was the first time there and going back for summer vacation.

We had a great time staying at the Monterey Motel/Resort. While it is listed as Monterey Motel online the sign out front does say Monterey resort. Great partial ocean view from the 3rd floor, and they have a nice end balcony that is shared between rooms to enjoy the ocean view as well. The owner/manager seemed nice, and I was greeted by her 3 small dogs in the office as well. Since it was off season we weren't charged for our second car which was nice. The kitchen was great for cooking a quick meal, but not much counter space. Kitchen was equipped with coffee maker, and toaster, a few pans, and full dishes/silverware. Bathroom was nicely updated, and everything was very clean.The heated pool was still pretty chilly, but that didn't stop the kids from going for a very brief swim. My only complaint would be the firmness of the beds. VERY firm. And the very thin mattress on the sofa bed was not very comfortable either. We only stayed 2 nights, and I think without bringing something cushy to lay on it would be tough for a longer stay. Otherwise highly recommend.

We had a few things that needed to be fixed on arrival but they had maintenance take care of them right away. The owner of the condo kept a very filthy couch in the apartment but that was the only flaw. there were
