Royal Inn Charlotte Airport Hotel

The room was very clean, but I slept on a box spring. The dead bolt lock would not lock. The safety lock on top is about to fall out.

At 1:30 am also area was super noisy

The area

Hotel staff friendly and efficient. Room wand bathroom clean. The smell in room was terrible. But a little cologne and I was fine Close to airport although it was 25$ going and return if you prebook 16$.

Comfort and quiet

I did appreciate that the rooms inside were much cleaner than you would have thought from looking at the outside. The location was convenient; very close to downtown. I would say "eh" about how the property was trying to charge me more for staying an extra night than what I paid on Expedia, without so much as offering to match the price, so I had to go back through Expedia to book another night, but I guess that's just part of the Expedia perks.
