King Minos Retreat Resort & Spa

Lovely staff, beautiful hotel our stay overall was amazing would definitely recommend.

Nothing major we still had a amazing stay but We asked for check in early months prior and wasn’t told they couldn’t do they said they will try to accommodate for us we had a long hall flight and just wanted to check in, we got there at 9am and room wasn’t available to us until 5pm. They did upgrade our room as a apology which we appreciated but did cut a day short for us. We then asked for a late check out just 2 hours over so we didn’t have to rush but was told no which is normal as they don’t really do late check out due to being booked out. The buffet had very basic food and sometimes the meat was a bit touch and go as we had chicken drumsticks with a stew and was a little pink. They said it was international cuisine but didn’t have a lot for fussy/beige eaters not even pizza or anything simple which I was disappointed as we was all inclusive we ended up buying lunch and dinner a lot. The main cocktails like pornstar martinis and strawberry daqs you had to pay for even on all inclusive which was annoying and the hot food by the pool we had to pay for which as all inclusive we ended up spending more on food than we wanted. The entertainment was very poor and not very lively and not much music etc in the day time either. They also said that people aren’t aloud to book beds but for the first few days we ended up getting no beds as we stuck to what they said after that we had to wake up at 6am just to get a bed which was a little annoying aswell.

Amazing pool and spa areas, rooms also lovely.

Buffet meals

We loved our three days here. The resort is beautifully designed and the pool garden just stunning. All the staff couldn't do enough to help us. Night entertainment was excellent. A small issue with the air con was quickly resolved. The food was always delicious. Worth every penny.

Guests putting their towels out to reserve pool beds was annoying. I would suggest that the resort encourage against this behaviour. Ensure enough pool towels during the peak season.

הכריות במיטה פשוט נוראיות דבר קטן אבל משמעותי לשינה. בנוסף לא אהבנו ששמו אותנו בחדר שמתחתיו היה חדר עם ג'קוזי וזה גרם לחוסר פרטיות. בנוסף בחרנו חדר עם נוף לגן ובפועל אין נוף לגן במלון אלא נוף לג'קוזי של משהו אחר.
