Inn at Schoolhouse Creek

The location is great . 5 min drive to Mendocino . Staff are very pleasant. There is sufficient parking space in the property. The back side of the property is very pleasant and relaxing . The view is amazing . The bed was very comfortable.

Because it’s right by the road , be prepared to be awaken early by passing traffic. The shower is very small and the water pressure very very weak making taking a shower very difficult. There is no breakfast included.

we ended up not staying

We didn't stay but a half hr. The room was so so, the $ we paid for our 2 dogs was wasted as they didn't have dog bowls or beds for them as advertised. If we wanted to watch TV we had to put in our personal information to get to our own TV apps that would be deleted after we left. NOPE. The grounds were covered with mole holes and we couldn't walk properly on the grounds. No one was in the office to address our concerns. We left after a half hr there and stayed somewhere else. This caused us another hour of our already tired selves to find another place. We had two dogs with us who were already tired from our 4.5 hr drive. Advice: please advertise your place as it actually is so some of us don't waste our time and money. Still waiting a month later for our refund.

I liked the convenient location close to the campground I was visiting the next day. I did not interact with the staff due to arriving in the evening. I was able to get into my room without any problems and had a great sleep before getting up early.

The heater was on upon arrival, but the room was not uncomfortable. The old stove heater was adorable though.

This was our third time staying and we love absolutely everything about it. Location is great, our dog loves the property, and it's always very peaceful and relaxing.
