Acadia Hotel - Downtown

The staff was fantastic! Our room was a decent size and the location was absolutely perfect. We were able to hike and explore Acadia national park in the morning, park the car and explore downtown Bar Harbor in the afternoon. Added bonus, breakfast at the hotel was great. Made to order omelets, pastries, cereal, yogurt and oatmeal! In the evening, the bar was open and we ordered pizza. It was great!

We had a great 2 night stay at the Acadia Hotel Downtown. We had the Sargent Mountain suite that had a nice sized living room and 2 bedrooms, each with king sized beds. Suite had nice mountain views, was very clean with comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful and friendly. A nice woman at check in, helped us geting our luggage to the room. They provide a nice breakfast with delicious, made to order omelettes, an assortment of breads, bagels and muffins along with juices, coffee and tea. Location is great, right in the middle of town on a side street close to all of the shops/restaurants. Highly recommend.

Great location, Bar Harbor area is wonderful.

Room smaller than expected, small hotel bar was over priced, but breakfast included was terrible. Omelette station, whilst not advertised was a nice touch, but trying to eat with plastic spoon, as not enough plastic knives and forks and balancing on low coffee tables was difficult. The breakfast situation is messy and better not to include it. The hotel room rate is very expensive.

Them not cancelling our booking after informing me it was confirmed, so on arrival from England we were told there was no rooms available for our 3 night stay.

We stayed on our New England Leaf peeping trip. The hotel was exactly what you’d want on a couples trip. Such a sweet and cute little place nestled right in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor.

Great location in the heart of Bar Harbor. Off street parking is a huge plus. The room was comfortable as was the bed.

We opened the mini-fridge to find a half eaten scone from a previous guest. The hot tub had a pretty significant scum line around the edge so we didn't dare use it. The golf simulator was inoperative. Finally, the staff's demeanor is very unique. They're not rude, just have a slow and "whatever" vibe.

We especially loved the location of the Acadia Hotel right across from the village green. We enjoyed that coffee and teas were available in the lobby at all times and there was popcorn to snack on. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come back!
