Acadia Hotel - Downtown

King room with private balcony was a clean and charming place to stay. Parking on site is tight. Within walking distance to all activities and food. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Really nice hotel in a perfect location...walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. Fantastic, friendly, helpful, professional staff.

We booked the hotel a year in advance, on receipt of what I considered to be a hoax text I emailed the hotel to confirm our booking, which was confirmed back by email.i received a second message unbeknownst to myself it was real and they cancelled the booking and yes refunded the deposit which id missed on my bank statement ( lucky for them but not us)When we arrived at the hotel there was no alternative rooms available and we were stranded as nowhere had rooms either, eventually at a cost of a further 1000 dollars were sorted. I’m disappointed firstly because they knew we confirmed the room, which I believe they had made a mistake with the total cost and it was way to cheap, secondly because we weren’t even offered a cup of coffee.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect spot to both relax and be within walking distance of all the food and shopping!

Parking at the hotel was horrible 😫 if you were the last to get in from the night, you probably won't have a spot to park, which happened to us twice from getting in late from the park. We had to make our own spot and pray someone didn't hit us! The lot is very small and crammed

The hotel is so quaint and cozy! The location is perfect and within walking distance to all of the shopping, restaurants and bars. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again.

The room was very comfortable. Walking distance to everything downtown. Close to the park. Continental breakfast was a plus.
