Acadia Hotel - Downtown

The location and the comfort of this hotel can’t be beat! The rooms are lovely, as is the staff. The breakfast is delicious! We would stay again!

The room and private bathroom very small. Bathroom needs upgrading. Parking lot is very tight. Location in town is great.

A great location. Close to everything

We loved our stay. It was very relaxing and everything we needed. It was perfectly located in the heart of bar harbor to all the restaurants, shops, and our kayak tour. We were able to catch the bus to Acadia National Park right across the street from the hotel. The bar attached to the hotel had really good martinis. We loved sitting on the front porch to just relax after a day in the park. We can’t wait to go back again some day!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Acadia Hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in room 4 and it was lovely, clean, with a comfortable queen bed. The hotel has coffee and tea available all day long and a complimentary breakfast that included made to order omelets. We also used the sauna and weight room in the basement. The hotel is right in the middle of the quaint town of Bar Harbor and we had no need to use our car to get dinner out or pick up a few groceries. We jogged each morning along the beautiful Shore Path that hugs the ocean. No better way to start the morning! It’s only minutes to Acadia National Park and we enjoyed many challenging and enjoyable hikes. It was a great mini vacation and September is the time to go! (Less people in the Park)

Great location, nice breakfast, attractive rooms! Parking is very tight for large vehicles. Some bathrooms/showers are tiny, but manageable.
