Thunderbird Resort Club

The resort was, tidy and felt very safe and secure! The room was VERY clean! They give you a starter amenity kit that has dosh detergent, some dish washer soap, a couple soap bars, kitchen utensils, liens and towels. Think of it similar to a AirBNB. That’s essentially what this is like. A vocational townhouse rental. It felt spacious, and i LOVED having the stairs! I had the deluxe apartment. The only thing i wish they would offer is a option for jacuzzi tubs in the rooms, even as part of an upgrade. They do have outdoor ones but it was 34 degrees Fahrenheit outside during my stay.

The compound was gated and secure so while i felt safe inside the resort, the general area isn’t a great area far as safety goes. You’ll be fine if you’re in a vehicle at night or walk during daylight but at night it seems very sketchy.

Need more electrical outlets throughout the condo. Bed and sofa bed could use new matresses. Otherwise, a good place to stay . Price was good for space rented.

I liked that it was an apartment and there was a fridge and cooking amenities. I also liked that bathroom had a lot of space.

Bed was kinda soft and lighting was a bit complicated to find out.

Suprised and pleased with the quality of the accomodations. The "virtual" checking is a little unusual, but worked great. We would stay here again.

I liked that it was gated and has secure parking. The kitchen was truly a kitchen, and well stocked with utensils, pans and appliances. Our unit had a private patio which was also nice.

The only complaint I could make would be about the pillows. They were quite thin and uncomfortable but on the second night of our stay we found a few more in one of the closets so it wasn’t bad after that.

The pool was warm, and my kids were in it at 9:00 am, even though it was cold outside. Had a great time. The condo is a little older, but clean and neat, lots of storage space.
