A Truly Exceptional Experience – Our New Home Away from Home We recently returned from the Sandals Royal Plantation, and even after nine wonderful days, it was still incredibly difficult to leave. We actually departed a day early on Saturday, October 25th, to avoid Hurricane Melissa, but our hearts were still very much there. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by warm, familiar smiles and even welcomed personally by the hotel manager who knew us by name — something I’ve never experienced before at any resort. That level of genuine hospitality set the tone for what would become one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. We had just come from Sandals Royal Caribbean, which was lovely in its own way, but it simply couldn’t compare to the level of personalized service and attention to detail we experienced at Royal Plantation. Originally, we were booked for seven nights at Sandals Ochi and three nights at Royal Plantation, but after just one night, we knew we wanted to stay at Plantation for our entire trip. A special thank-you to Omar, the General Manager, who seamlessly made that change for us. He handled everything with such professionalism and care, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy every moment of our stay. Our two incredible butlers, Bigs and Ricky, were simply outstanding. Both were friendly, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring every detail was perfect. They truly elevated our experience. Anthony needs to be mentioned, he was not our butler but you wouldn't have known it thanks to his service. We also want to extend our gratitude to the Loyalty and Travel team — Mr. Bean and Sequoia — for taking care of both our spring and fall bookings. It was a pleasure working with you, and your efficiency and kindness did not go unnoticed. Marvin, the Operations Manager, also deserves high praise. The resort runs like a well-oiled machine under his guidance — everything flowed perfectly, and his professionalism shone through in every detail. I’ll always be grateful for his thoughtful insight and the special mention of page 61 in All That’s Good — a meaningful touch that truly resonated with us and reflects the resort’s culture of excellence. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond. Lashawna greeted us with a big smile and a keen eye for detail. Stephnie provided wonderful service, while Romaine kept the atmosphere lively and fun. Donello ensured my glass was never empty, and Natalia made breakfast a joy every morning, remembering our preferences without even needing to ask. Vanya was incredibly attentive and a true pleasure to be around, while Chevon provided excellent service at the French restaurant. And a heartfelt thank-you to Wayne, the Food and Beverage Manager, whose leadership and dedication were evident in the consistency and excellence of his entire team. Finally, a special thank-you once again to Omar, whose tireless efforts to help us find a flight home in the midst of the storm were deeply appreciated. Sandals Royal Plantation has truly become our new home away from home. The warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shown by every member of the team have set a new standard for hospitality. Customer service like this simply doesn’t exist anymore, and we are beyond grateful to have found such a remarkable place. We are already counting down the days until our return. "Paradise!"

We recently returned from a fabulous 8 night stay at this lovely boutique resort. This was our 12th visit! What makes it stand out for us is the genuinely caring staff members. Omar and his management team are dedicated to making sure that we are their #1 priority. They are on the property continuously interacting with guests. And just like “Cheers” everybody knows your name! We received Outstanding service from all staff members, as usual, especially our butlers, Adrian and Aldrich the ‘A’ team; beach butlers Daniello, Trevardo and Romaine; servers Stephnie, Sherika, Tiana, Sheena, Demario, Andre, Romaine, Chevon; Hotesses: Vanya and Nicola; Wobbly Peacock bar: Junior, Garnet, Tresell, Simone, Romaine and Nyaza; Lorna and her ladies in the gift shop; Sequoia at the Loyalty Desk and Housekeeping’s Naruiska. There are also many staff members working almost invisibly everyday grooming the beach and doing landscape and general maintenance in order to keep SRP beautiful and who may not always get noticed, But we see you! The food, as usual, was delicious especially at the French restaurant where Chevon provided excellent service all evening. Loved the food at the Royal Grill and the returning guest dinner was exceptional—-Surf and Turf. We very much enjoyed our made-to-order lunch requests which our Butlers delivered to us on the beach. Sorry if I forgot to mention someone by name but all of the staff were fantastic! The resort is lovely and there are so many opportunities to meet other guests, many of whom are loyal SRP fans like us. Looking for to going “HOME” again next year!

"The Best Hotel in Jamaica!"

Coming to Sandals Royal Plantation is like going home to your family. From you step into the lobby all the staff want to do is ensure you are happy and well taken care of. Whether you are a 1st time guest or a regular, you will be met with warm smiles, cold drinks, and good vibes! Just a short drive from either airport, the hotel is nestled on the best stretch of beach on the north coast. The rooms are always clean and the grounds are beautiful and quiet. Everything is included and what they don't have you can always find nearby. Your personal butlers (yes I said butlers...you are assigned two for your stay to make sure you are always well taken care of) will go above and beyond to make sure you are relaxed and pampered. Our Butlers Adrian and Alrick are the best. Literally the "A team". Whether it is surprise cookies waiting for you in the room or regular checkins with your favorite food in town. They are always on point and just so helpful and lively. I also have to highlight some of the staff who are also quite excellent. Romaine and Gavin from the restaurants. Trevardo at the beach who ensures that you always have a drink in hand. Even if you are in the water he ensures to come get your drink order and then brings it to you. Top notch attention. Thr ladies of the terrace Simone, Tiana, Tanya and Sherika make sure you are well taken care of for all meals. Stephanie from the grill will bring you anything you need always with a smile. Also have to shoutout to Sherika and Doneil. The excellent service is not just at the level of the hospitality team and front desk but also from the management of the hotel. I have never seen a general manager as involved with the team and the guests as Omar. He and Marvin were always around making sure things were running smoothly and that all the guests were happy. Honestly, this is the best hotel in Jamaica. We go back at least twice a year. And as a local that says a lot about the quality of service and the value of all that we receive. Sandals Royal Plantation is somewhere you will want to go back to each and every year. To my husband and I, they always say "welcome home", and that's what it feels like to us.

"Sandals Royal Plantation"

We booked the villa plantana and arrived on October 8-15, 2025. We arrived on resort at 2:30pm. We were greeted with the most amazing staff, a glass of champagne and cold towels! I always love them!! We met Omar, the GM and felt like family immediately! They quickly checked us in, our butlers Keonio and Delgardo gave us a tour of the resort and took us to our villa. They gave us a tour inside and out. Our few requests of alcohol and non alcoholic beverages were in the room and the few other requests i had put in! Floor fan too! When we walked out to our private pool area, that view!!! Absolutely gorgeous!! We were the only ones staying in the villa. We like our privacy so this was perfect! It’s 3 bedroom. You can book 2 other couples but we chose to have it to ourselves. It was so nice to sit outside every morning with my cup of coffee and have a pastry and fruit that keonio or delgardo delivered every morning. It was so peaceful. We went to the Terrace to have breakfast each morning. We would then go to the beach until lunch and head back to the villa to have lunch and relax around the pool. The clouds would roll in mid afternoon with rain. We would sit under the covered area and take it in! We would then get ready for dinner. We throughly enjoyed every meal at every restaurant. Great menus at each restaurant. My favorite at each Sandals’s we visit is the pub. The Wobbly Peacock did not disappoint! I was blown away from arrival until we left by every staff member! They remembered our names, what we drank, what our food choices would be. This resort is like no other we’ve been to. I now see why so many keep going back. The level of one on one you get from the staff is something I’ve never experienced! Our butlers keonio & delgardo were dedicated to the villa only so that level of care was unmatched! They were there as much as we wanted them as little. They were never intrusive but if we asked for anything (I don’t think we ever even had to ask for anything) they were on it and there! They are definitely the best butler team we’ve ever had in our 20 sandals visits! Shanique made sure the villa was spotless every morning and evening. What a gem she is! She always took a few minutes to talk to us and make sure we didn’t need anything else or if there was something else she could do for us. She was the sweetest of them all! She always made sure to say goodbye, see us tomorrow. She started out as our housekeeper but quickly became our friend! I loved seeing her each day! Her smile and attitude was so refreshing! She made sure to say goodbye to us on our departure day. I miss her so much! We had a nasty storm come in on Monday. The rain came hard and fast. The pool & hot tub overflowed. Water was standing all around the villa. It was crazy! As soon as the rain let up, not quit completely but slowed down chadway & Rashawn was there to clean it all up. In less than an hour they had it looking like we never had a storm! Monday night we had the in room dinner cooked by private chef vinroy. All of our meals were amazing but this meal was over the top! My steak really didn’t even need a knife to cut. It was cooked perfect and was so tender! Keonio set our table up beautifully. We traveled with another couple and invited them to dine with us. We also asked keanio to stay. I was so glad he did. He was such a great added guest and had great conversations with him! We enjoyed our daily encounters with Omar. No matter what business he was taking care of he took time to speak to us and feel like we were his only guests. The same as he did with others. His level of a GM is amazing. We felt the same of Marvin. Always so personable and never felt our conversations were rushed when we spoke to him. We rebooked on site for a return visit for October 2028. While it’s a ways away it will be worth the wait because now i have experienced why this resort is so special!

"We didn't like this hotel we loved it !"

The high number of retuning guests is a very good indication that this hotel is delivering a high standard of hospitality. We have visited this hotel several times and have always had a wonderful holiday experience. This visit our Butlers were Richard and Dwainey both absolute professionals who made us feel at home and were kind and considerate - thank you both so much x huge respect for you both x just a fantastic team. The rooms have been upgraded since our last visit and as always clean and beautifully presented. The food and service at this all inclusive hotel did not disappoint. The Royal Grill in the evening and Soy at Ochi where the food and service was just 5* every time. Everyone is friendly and it is such a happy place to be. The Spa is relaxing and friendly. Spa therapist Rona was very professional and is a wonderful person. Lorna and the two beautiful ladies in the shop are always happy to help and have a chat with. Huge thank you to the beach butlers, the breakfast and dinner servers, the friendly mixologists at the Wobbly Peacock and everyone that took the time to have a chat and make us feel at home.

"Exceptional resort"

"Outstanding again!!"

Just got home from two weeks stay, which we booked on site before we departed last year. This was the first time we have ever done this. It speaks volumes that we have done the same this year to return in 2026! We want to convey our appreciation to the wonderful team working at this hotel. We could state people’s names but we would be in danger of missing someone out. Suffice is to say that absolutely 100% of the team whether (in no particular order) Manager, Housekeeping, Gardener, Bar, Butlers, Beach Butlers, Restaurant Teams, Chefs, Loyalty Team, Maintenance, Drivers, Reception, Entertainment are outstanding. "A MAGICAL PLACE"

This was our 6th visit to SRP and we booked three more while on property. This is simply a magical place. We cannot imagine vacationing anywhere else. We were blessed this trip to have stayed in room 360, The Governor General Suite. It sits atop the West Wing on the far end closest to the ocean. To say it was remarkable is an understatement. I recently wrote the following Thank You note to Omar, the General Manager. Good Morning Omar! Tim and I arrived home safely yesterday evening with all of our art carvings intact! I apologize in advance for the length of this email but I would be remiss in not giving a shout out to you and your staff....... I am not sure where to begin to thank you and your amazing staff for probably our best vacation ever. Your energy is palpable and it reflects in each and every staff member we encountered throughout the week. I hope they all know how appreciated each and every one of them are to us. I am sure I will miss some names here but I'd like to give a shout out to those we have known over the years and those that we met for the first time this year. They are all special people and each one went out of their way to make this trip special for us. I start with Andre and Johovan. They are nothing short of amazing. We consider them friends and family. Their attention to detail, their spirit, all of the special touches throughout our stay were just wonderful. I can't imagine a vacation there without them. Sherril holds a very special place in our hearts. She was one of our very first butlers in 2014 and her infectious laugh and spirit continue to warm our hearts. Even though we were not her guests, she took time for us to catch up and reminisce over the past and it was lovely. In 2023 we met dear Vanya at The Terrace and we were thrilled to see her again this year. She has the most wonderful warm smile. We were also blessed to see Tiana and Stephne and we met Sherika for the first time and enjoyed her lovely personality at The Terrace and The Grill. We also met Sheena, Giovanni and Romaine for the first time at dinner and they were so warm and engaging. In 2023 we also met dear Chevon (Chevy) up in La Papillon. He holds a corner of our hearts and we were thrilled to reconnect with him again this year. He brings pure joy to everything he does. To Chef Martin and Chef Vinroy, we cannot thank them enough for the wonderful food they produced each and every day and the special lobster dishes (yum!) and of course our private meal on our balcony. They are simply spectacular! A huge shout out goes to Daniello, Trevardo and Romaine down at the beach. We have known them for many years and they are fantastic beach butlers. They made our time down on the beach so much fun. They are all three wonderful individuals and work so very hard. Of course there is the Wobbly Peacock. It was wonderful to reconnect with Tressel. She makes the #1 espresso martini I have ever had anywhere! There of course was also Garnet, Junior and Jlee. All of them were so much fun! At the spa, Dianna was fantastic and it was a pleasure spending some time with Trecia, the head of the spa. To Marvin.... he was and has always been a great person to have conversation with and his love for what he does clearly shows in everything he touches. I huge shout out to our room attendant, Nariesha. She was always so polite and clearly cared greatly for her job as she had amazing attention to detail throughout our stay. I hope we can have her again in 2026! There are also all of the beach attendants who took care of the beach each day. I wish I had their names. I would watch them prepare the beach each morning and it was just amazing what great care they took to make the beach ready for everyone every morning. Finally, many thanks to Sequoia for showing us a couple of new room options and helping me to book our next three stays at Royal Plantation . I truly hope that Tim and I show appropriate appreciation and respect to your entire staff when we visit SRP. You all make this a place we continue to want to return to as often as we are blessed to be able to do so. We do not ever take for granted how lucky/blessed we are to be able to come to this beautiful place and to be treated in such a special way. We are truly humbled each and every time we are there. Thank you again for indulging my lengthy email. And thank you again for all you do in leading this great staff of people. We are ever so grateful for you. One Love and until March 2026....

"First Time - not the Last Time!"

This was a special offer for September from the UK. We know the diving can be better in other countries but we were interested in this resort as it is small and Butler only suites. It is not for those who like a party atmosphere or large swim-up pools but suited us and like-minded 'oldies'. Service and quality of restaurants are excellent and we would happily revisit even without the diving. We were also very lucky to be here on the occasion of turtles being released from their nest.

"A wonderful time"

Everything about the resort was wonderful, the management (Marvin and Omar) always remembered our names and the daily cocktail popsicles on the beach were much appreciated. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We loved all the little games including darts, croquet, pickleball, pool, backgammon, corn hole, shuffleboard and bocce ball to name a few. The water was amazing for swimming and we also enjoyed our regular kayaking, thank you to the water sports team for looking after us. The beach butlers remembered our drinks order and always seemed to be there when you needed refreshment. Our own butlers Marvin and Bebeato were great and looked after us brilliantly, no request was too much trouble. The loyalty and travel team were great and we got to know them well through our daily games of pool. Horatio and Mahesh were lovely and we got to know Sequoia really well. Never having played pickleball before we really enjoyed our games of doubles pickleball with David and Russ and Simeon the coach shouting encouragement. The food was exceptional and all the serving staff were really friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a brilliant holiday and we have already booked to go back.
