We have been coming to this resort for over 10 years and it gets better every trip. Omar has added a new level of service as general manager. He knows everyone on the resort by name and is always walking around making us feel welcome and appreciated. We can't say enough how wonderful Gladstone and Sherrill are as our butlers. The beach butlers Romaine, Trevardo and Daniello remember our drink preferences year after year. I went scuba diving next door at Ochi and the dive masters took great care of me. Kemar, WInston and Dennis and all the dive crew are fabulous. I did a night dive that was spectacular. My husband golfed everyday and the staff over there are fantastic. Janoi at the front desk remembered us and made us feel welcome and appreciated. The level of service from housekeeping, restaurants, butler service, bars, and the water sports is excellent! Even if you don't ask for help, they ask what they can do for you. I feel so spoiled and special here. It's our home away from home.

This Sandals is a hidden gem! This is our 2nd time staying here and we are already booked again! The service is exceptional at every level and the staff really enjoys building relationships with their guests! We had the best butlers Andre and Johovan that went above and beyond our expectations and made us feel special. Omar Robinson, the General manager, has created a such amazing resort environment at this beautiful resort!

From the moment we arrived at Sandals Royal Plantation, we knew we were in for something special—but what we experienced far exceeded anything we could have imagined. This stunning, intimate resort offered more than just ocean views and luxurious accommodations; it provided exceptional service at every level, making our 25th wedding anniversary celebration unforgettable. Every single team member at this resort—from the groundskeepers to the wait staff, from spa attendants to housekeeping, and most especially the phenomenal butler service—was outstanding. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail created an atmosphere of effortless luxury and genuine care. We were privileged to have Biggs and Alrick as our butlers, and they truly went above and beyond. They not only catered to our every need but also orchestrated daily special lunches for our group of eight that were thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented. A standout moment was when Biggs arranged a private jerk chicken lunch, a taste of Jamaica that we’ll never forget. Meanwhile, Alrick worked closely with Chef Lorenzo to recreate the tapas menu from Sandals Ochi—a personal and delicious surprise that touched us deeply. Meeting Chef Lorenzo in person to thank him was a highlight we’ll always remember. And the lobster Thermidor they organized and served to us? Hands-down the best any of us have ever had. Our experiences in the Wobbly Peacock Pub were made even better by Tricel, who was absolutely incredible. On day one, when we all craved pub bites, she simply smiled and said, “Let me bring you a mixed platter of everything.” And what a delicious spread it was! Every night, she took care of our group with a perfect blend of speed, efficiency, and humor—always making sure our drinks were topped off and that we were well taken care of. Breakfast was a daily joy, thanks to the amazing trio of Vanya, Staci-Ann, and Andre. Their cheerful greetings, attentiveness, and playful energy set the perfect tone for each day. Despite managing a table of eight, they never missed a beat and made us feel truly seen and valued. At the Royal Grill, we were met with friendly smiles and top-tier service from Stephne, Venessa, Wilton, and Sherika. Their warm personalities made our poolside lunches fun and relaxing. Over at The Terrace, Giovanni was another standout—efficient, personable, and always ready with a smile. The beach butlers kept us cool and refreshed, never letting our glasses go empty, and always checking in without being intrusive. The beachside service was seamless and truly enhanced our days in the sun. A special thank-you goes to Yaneike, our housekeeper, who kept our room pristine, fully stocked, and always ready for us to relax after a day of sun and sand. Having a spotless room with a perfect ocean view every day was an absolute dream. One of the most memorable parts of our trip was our Retie the Knot ceremony, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The entire wedding planning team was outstanding, and Kelly Ann in particular made the experience magical. She blended professionalism with fun and brought such joy and calm to the day that we couldn’t have imagined a better celebration. Omar, the general manager, is the heart of the resort. He is present, approachable, and genuinely invested in each guest’s experience. He greets returning guests by name and leads by example—whether it’s clearing plates, adjusting cushions, or simply sharing a kind word. His leadership is reflected in the warmth and camaraderie of the entire staff. The food at Sandals Royal Plantation was simply some of the best we’ve ever had at any Sandals property—and we've been to several. We also dined twice at Sandals Dunn’s River, and both times the meals were fantastic. In short, Sandals Royal Plantation is a gem. It’s peaceful, elegant, and run by a team of people who genuinely care. It felt like being welcomed into a big, extended family where everyone looks out for each other and treats guests with the utmost respect and warmth. Our first trip to Jamaica Royal Plantation was in April 2025 and loved it so much I booked a trip for July 2025. I have never booked a trip to the same place twice (we like to explore new countries when we have vacation time). However, this resort changed my mind. I had to come back to make sure I didn’t imagine the entire stay. It truly feels like a resort for royalty. Everyone will know your name, food/drink preferences and how you to prefer to relax within the first day. We are low key - my partner likes to read under the patio or sun shade and I like to dip my toes in the pool or ocean. Every single guest feels valued (it is a small resort so you meet your ‘neighbors’ and have chats at breakfast or lunch). The butlers go above and beyond to make sure you don’t worry about a thing. My shout is to our butlers Anthony and Robert. They never missed an opportunity to make our vacation amazing! Finally, Omar…the amazing general manger. WOW. I have never met a general manager of any Caribbean resort, and certainly never one that is always present, greeting guests by name (and bringing popsicles to beach - for real!) I wish I could go back in three months…I think every guest does…but I will DEFINITELY be back within the year. Yes, it is that good. ❤️

Sandals Royal Plantation has become our little 'Heaven on Earth'. Our first trip there was when we had our 'Weddingmoon' in 2018. We went back in 2024 and again in 2025. We love the quiet, relaxing, and rejuvenating aspects of the resort. Our butlers, Adrian and Alrick, are always so personable and accommodating. The GM, Omar, is so welcoming and has the best memory out of anyone we know. The entertainers, Brandon and Nataki, are wonderful singers and so very sweet to talk to. We thoroughly enjoy getting to know, and chatting with, the waiters, waitresses, and beach butlers. Please do not hesitate to book this resort if you are looking to be pampered and experience a serene vacation!!!

Do Not Wait to book a trip here! Just got back from this blissfully happy resort and we already booked on site. This is something we have NEVER done before. The GM Omar, will make sure your are well taken care of! The food is SOOO good you will actually cry, if your lucky enough to have the Private Chef Experience in your room. The Beach is Lovely. The Water is perfect. The Staff Members are exceptional. Our Butlers were absolutely AMAZING :) I booked the outdoor massage, and was treated like a Queen. We were lucky enough to book the Private Villa at this resort and it did not disappoint. Quiet, Relaxing, and Peaceful. 5 star experience.

What can we say about Sandals Royal Plantation, aka our home away from home? This place is the best kept secret of the Sandals resort family. It is a small, step filled resort on a hillside that boasts beautiful beach views from what I believe is almost every room and sunsets that will take your breath away. The team that operates this gem of a resort is what makes absolutely all the difference. Every single person encountered is absolutely wonderful, kind, and make you feel special. I will be listing some but I am sure I may forget some, and for that I hope I am forgiven. As you may or may not know, this resort is a butler only resort. We had the wonderful experience of having the dream team combo of Bebeato & Marvin. Just the two kindest, easiest going and sweetest humans. Nothing asked is ever a problem and everything was always delivered with a smile. From the moment they walked us into our awesome room with an AWESOME view, with sweet anniversary greetings, to the moment they had to sadly evict us. Marlene made sure our room was always clean and turned down by the time we returned. We were so glad we got to at least greet her on our last day. In terms of food - this place is top notch. I am unsure how many chefs are around that make the culinary magic of this place, but every meal was divine and the service that goes along with it is second to none. We had the wonderful experience of being served by Sherika at the Royal Grille on our last day (because we're spoiled by our butler team who brought us food daily at the beach or to our room), and Deaundre at the Terrace. They made sure every detail and ask was delivered on and then some! The beach butler team made up of the amazing trio that is Daniello, Trevardo and Romaine are simply the best! Daniello even treated us to a sweet surprise to go along with our drinks on our anniversary :) These guys work hard under the Jamaican sun to ensure we all keep our cups filled with a cool beverage. Not far from the superior food team service, then comes our wonderful bar team. There are not enough words to describe the smiles and fabulous drinks created by the amazing Crocodile, Garnett! But let us of course do a shout out for the amazing Junior & Jahvaine who also ensure your drink is never empty at the bar. And if you choose to sit outside to watch the stars or watch the evening entertainment, the wonderful Treselle is there taking care of you as well. Which transitions us into the unmatched entertainment team. We LOVE the SRP Entertainment team. This was our first time meeting Marvin and Nataki and we look forward to getting to know them better in future stays. They ensured that we knew what guaranteed line ups we could expect and even prepared us for our New Year's return :) But I can't keep going without letting you know how the mighty King Alex has stolen our hearts! He keeps us all super entertained, has a gorgeous singing voice and is just an overall gem! Brandon has the patience of a saint and is filling the place with smiles and engagement in ways that I haven't seen in any other Sandals property! And not far from entertainment, but of a different kind, we move to the Water Sports team led by the amazing Fabian. Fabian and Tivawne took us out on a morning escape and there are no words to make this romantic getaway justice. We were able to snorkel around a shipwreck, get a bit of historical lessons in the area and just take in the gorgeous turquoise waters in the area. We got to see SO much sea life and have such great conversations with this fabulous duo. They also were wonderful, along with the other aqua sports team members, in getting kayaks, the hobie cat sails to keep us entertained on the quieter beach :) This team works hard. If not working hard to keep the guests supplied with all of their water sports needs, you would see them out cleaning boats, gear, and so on. We can't wait to hang out with them in the water when we return. Which I have kept saying...indeed, we are returning. Mahesh and Sequoia will make sure they understand all of your travel needs and provide you an incredible offer to ensure your return to this piece of heaven, or any other Sandals property you wish to check out. The Loyalty team takes the time to know you, your interests and preferences. Simply amazing! But I would be remiss to say that as a manager myself, I know that this place is as magical as it is due to the leadership of the one and only Omar. Omar is a general manager like no other. He ensures *every single* guests feels seen, known, and welcomed. All it took was a good warm greeting from Omar, requesting that we return and that's all it took. You lead by example, and we see Omar helping his team with anything needed and ensuring that this place remains special. You can probably guarantee our return to the Sandals Royal Plantation for as long as the magic attained by Omar doesn't ever disappear. So for now, it is a can't wait to come back home soon :)

Unfailingly warm and friendly customer service on the part of all team members made all the difference to us, during this relatively short vacation. Our butlers merit special mention, as always. We add the Guest Relations staff, and the massage therapists at the Red Lane Spa. In addition, the Sandals Royal Plantation environment encourages the guests themselves to engage in pleasant interactions, as they meet each other.

My spouse and I recently returned for a stay at the Sandals Royal Plantation. This resort is such an incredible place to rest & relax. It’s a boutique-style experience that we love! The service here is exceptional! Every team member we encountered was kind, attentive, & genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. The service feels like it comes straight from the heart. A special thank you to General Manager Omar Robinson. It's not every day you meet a GM who takes the time to greet guests by name. You will feel seen & valued during your stay! Just wondering how you describe paradise????? Well , we know how. Sandals Royal Plantation. From the minute we stepped through the door we were treated like royalty. The first interaction from the staff was “Welcome Home!” , we were treated to a delightful cool towel and given a cold drink. We noticed there was cookies to welcome us as well. Immediately our fabulous butler Alrick was there to explain the protocols for the resort and he informed us that we were all set for supper as we arrived very close to dinner time. We were impressed immediately. Alrick was the consummate professional and straight away gave us a tour and took us to our suite. As we entered , he opened the curtain and showed us the view. To be honest, it was so lovely I cried. We were absolutely impressed with every meal we ate. We loved the ladies at the breakfast buffet and our servers for every meal were equally as wonderful! We loved the quiet ambiance of this resort. The BEACH was gorgeous. And the beach butlers catered to our every need. Pool was amazing as well. Please also we must mention the manager Omar who freaking knew our names! It's the attention to detail that impressed us!!!! Omar is a keeper! Our butlers Alrick and Biggs (aka Sweetie to me) took amazing care of us. We will NEVER forget them EVER! From celebrating our 30th anniversary to the disco ball for my husbands birthday every detail was impeccable. We even booked a trip for our daughter and husband who never got a honeymoon due to COVID! They will be visiting next May! Thank you for this memorable, fabulous, stupendous vacation.
