Yadoya Kikokuso

Beautiful garden, very friendly staff, welcoming tea, and helpful local recommendations

There are not words to describe how much my friend and I loved Yadoya Kikokuso. The traditional, futon beds were the most comfortable of our entire trip and the room was the perfect size. The hosts were so kind, carrying our bags upstairs and welcoming us with cups of cold tea while explaining the facilities, which included an air conditioning that we were told to never turn off. The property is run by a couple and has been in the husband's family for generations—and you can tell! They were both so, so kind and always wished us a good morning or evening, asking us about what we did or what we planned to do. My friend and I also visited Tokyo and Osaka, but the Uadoya Kikokuso was by far our favorite stay and we will certainly be recommending it to anyone else visiting Kyoto.

J’ai tout aimé dans cet hôtel, l’accueil des deux propriétaires été incroyable, ils sont gentil à l’écoute, les chambres sont confortable. Si vous voulez vivre une vrai expérience d’un hôtel traditionnel je recommande à 1000%

We loved our room and our hosts. They made us feel so welcomed and went above and beyond in making sure we had a wonderful stay. Their breakfast will be remembered for years.

Si vous recherchez la quiétude et le calme vous êtes au bon endroit ! Ce ryokan est vraiment bien en passant par la déco , on se sent vraiment Japon . C'est traditionnel ! L'endroit est apaisant et idéalement situé à 10 min de la gare . Sans parler du couple qui gère l'établissement : ils sont très accueillants, touchants , aux petits soins . Le Onsen privatif est un plus ! Obligation de réserver , 45 min pour moi toute seule le pied ! Vraiment sympa même si il est dans son jus . Juste le check out est un peu tôt Pas de possibilité de dîner ou de déjeuner . Fort heureusement que le quartier est animé il y a pas mal de restaurants très sympas.

I proprietari sono probabilmente le persone più gentili incontrate in Giappone. Ryokan bellissimo in cui sperimentare l’accoglienza tradizionale giapponese. Abbiamo anche usufruito della cena Shabushabu e della colazione tradizionale, esperienza bellissima!
