Modern 2BDR apartment-CATHEDRAL VIEW-BEST LOCATION

The apartment has a prime location next to the cathedral and is a few minutes' walk from the city center, the river, all major attractions, markets, etc. The check-in process is really simple and host-free, we got enough instructions to easily collect the keys and get into the room. Even though it says they have parking -- it's not actually the case. When I asked where their parking was, they instructed me to go to the nearest public garage, which is 20+ EUR per day. However, the building has its own yard with free parking (it says residents only, though), so we parked there without any issues, and we were able to see the car from the apartment window.

The apartment was renovated e.g. 5-10 years ago, but completely unmaintained since then -- peeled wallpaper, cobwebs in the bathroom, broken armrest on the sofa, ants in every room, wardrobe door cannot fully open, etc. Bedroom 1: the bed is really bad, you can feel every spring, the window looks into the building’s hallway, you can hear everyone passing by, and every time the lights turn on, it is impossible to sleep.  Bedroom 2: it’s looking on the street so you could get some sleep only between 1 and 6 am -- there are parties until late in the night and you could hear everything due to bad sound isolation; the sun rises at 6 am and, even though there are curtains, you cannot sleep anymore as curtains are not thick enough to block the sun. None of these were problematic enough to completely ruin the experience, plus we were there for two nights, but all in all, there are lots of small things that prevent you from fully enjoying your stay, while the majority of the issues could easily be fixed.

We spent one night here. It was exactly what we needed. The apartment is in the city center. We had a secured parking area, 5 minutes away from the apartment. *be careful and don't park in front of the apartment :)
