Hotel Ella

Big room and nice big size bathroom with room for accessories. Nice shower. Quiet & comfortable

Resturant had no air . Waiter not pleasant.

The room and hotel were very clean, and the staff was courteous. The internet password was not provided and I couldn't reach the front desk by phone to get it, nor was anyone available when I walked down to desk.

There was no staff at the check-in desk when I arrived, which was fine as I was heading to the in-house bar to meet a friend. Bar service was friendly and made excellent cocktails. I did arrive mid afternoon on a Sunday and the hotel in general was not busy. The room was clean and large. The valet made sure it was easy for me to get my car the next morning for a 6 AM check out. The lobby offers coffee and water, but unfortunately, the coffee was not ready when I was checking out.

Hotel Ella treated us like we were Royalty. Especially Isaac B. And Max. They both went over and beyond the call of duty to make our Hotel Ella experience much better than imagined! This Historic Landmark, has a touch of European Class, and Elegance . Beautiful fountains & Lighting around the pool with a great restaurant and rooms!

Lovely pool area that feels like an urban retreat in the middle of Austin. Staff was friendly.

I attended a family wedding. The immediate family on both sides stayed at the Ella and the reception was also in their reception center. The reception and banquet set up was perfect and the sit down dinner for about 100 was perfect. The staff, especially Raven, were very helpful. The rooms are nice, comfortable and fairly modernized. A real coffee maker, or at least one that makes more than a small cup of expresso would have been a nice addition. I guess my only real negative about the room was the bedding. We have not, and don’t plan on getting on the Duvet band Wagon. They are heavy and you are either too hot or too cold. I spoke with the front desk about getting just a normal blanket and was told the do not have any. That left one option. Turn the AC down to 68 and get under the Duvet. Would I stay there again. If it were part of another event probably because of the facilities, but not if I was just visiting Austin. There is not much in the area to walk to. The hotel is nestled amongst several student rental high rises so not much to do without taking an Uber

The hotel was great. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious at the restaurant. Caroline at the front desk was very accommodating during my stay.

We were in room 108 and it felt a little like a dungeon. Not sure if we backed up against the laundry room but it was loud and shook the wall.
