Residence Inn by Marriott Whitby

Location was great and staff was wonderful.

The sofa bed was absolutely terrible - it shouldn't even be considered a bed. There was also a Book of Mormon left in the drawer + the bed was not a queen size.

Very clean. Large rooms. Friendly staff ready to help whenever needed (they killed a spider for us). Super impressed!

Le sofa lit n’etait pas tres confortable. Sinon une equipe de la crosse a deranger notre sejour - des enfants qui courent dans les couloirs, dans les ascenceurs et qui crient et des parents saouls qui ne s’occupent pas de leurs enfants.

I thought breakfast at hotel was until 11 am, but I didn't go until 10:30 am and it was closed at 10 am. So we never got a chance to eat.

Wasn't a pleasant check in as our room wasnt ready, which is fine as I did arrive around 1 pm. Was told they would call me when room was ready and they never did. When i came back the 2nd time to check in the girl was pleasant. I loved the size of room and it was cool to have a kitchen in the room. My only issue was that there were little hairs on the toilet. A clump of long black hair on bathroom floor, not mine as I am a blonde. An elastic by tv on floor. A used kleenex by phone on side table. Little things, but aside from that it was a comfortable bed and good location.

Clean, Victoria was amazing.

There was a THC canister in my oven where the pans go, dishwasher was broken. When I checked in was dealing with Victoria (What an asset to your company) she was friendly amazing and very courteous.. There was a problem with booking.com when I showed her paid she tried really hard to fix it. Then saima (I think her name is) came out and was talking and it was so embarrassing she wouldn’t listen to Victoria or me, when I showed her I paid she insisted I didn’t and tried to charge another 591.00 to my credit card and was loud so others around checking in etc heard this went on for over 30 minutes. She tried telling me that I had to pay you over a 100 more I booked it at 491.00 for two nights then deal with booking later not listening. Then shaming me for not having another 591.00 plus 250.00 plus the 491.00 that I already paid. Worst customer service ever. I would keep Victoria beyond measure she was a gem to deal with! Parking sucks!

I loved that the room came with a full kitchen. Even although we were not there long enough to utilize it, it is a great thing to have. I would definately book a residence inn if I was travelling for a few days.

The breakfast sasauge and turkey looked a bit grey.

A place that checked all the boxes for a quick getaway close to home.

Pool was cold and the breakfast area was cramped.
