The Inn at Virginia Mason

No breakfast included, the room was nothing like picture, loud buzzing sound all night,room temp was way too hot, room was from 1920's,hard bed hard pillows

This hotel is very convenient for the families of patients at Virginia Mason, except on weekends when the indoor connection is closed, as are the restaurant and coffee shop. Then you have to enter through the ER where you are screened just like TSA, every time. It was built in 1938 and when they say it hasn't been upgraded since then, they are not kidding. It is not accessible and don't expect help from the front desk staff if you are tugging luggage up the 6 stairs to enter the building. The beds were comfortable and that's about the only positive about room decor. My room had an early 20th centure ice box set into the wall.....no really, an ice box with the old metal tubing and box for a block of ice .....granted it also had a fridge. The tub had old stained decals on the surface. Furniture....early 20th centure and not antiques. Don't come for a hotel experience. Come for convenience to the hospital which is a good thing.

Location was amazing

It was cold in there!

Location was close enough to everything. The RHO Café was wonderful to have on the property, it set the atmospheric tone. We had a clean, corner room on the 6th floor overlooking the city. It was an affordable stay, a great value. Ambulances could get loud, but there was probably 1 during our stay. There was an issue checking in, but they gave us vouchers for RHO for the inconvenience.

Close to the hospital and it had a great city view.

Parking was difficult to find.
