The room was not toa standard of cleanness it should be also tried to add extra charges I had already paid for.

The dining room table covers were smeared, on enquiring, got the information that they change the upper white cover regularly but the one under neath was changed less frequently. This is the one I pointed out to the management. This cover remains uncovered by about 9” all around. This part was badly smeared and dirty om several tables.

This is not a uk standard 4 star property 2* at most .Wasn’t able to check in until 4.30pm , room was not the cleanest , no hairdryer in room , WiFi is shockingly slow not even 1mb - unacceptable in 2019 , staff could not understand even basic English, service levels were poor and requests were not answered. Shower was rubbish with hardly any water flow Bed was comfortable but that’s about it ! Breakfast was limited with very little western choice - omelette was the only option available . Restaurant wasn’t any better , again staff do not understand basic English, service was slow it took them 15 mins to get me a shot of whiskey, staff do not know there own menu and bought out different dishes than what was ordered , when they were notified instead of rectifying the issue they began to argue , had to call the manager , staff pretty rude and ignorant, one of them even said they hated working there ! Checked out after 2 nights and would not recommend or come back !! The only thing 4* about this hotel is the price . Do yourself a favour and stay at Ramada Encore not only will you get clean rooms and a good service you will also save money . Overall I can’t give this place more than 2 or 3 out of 10 .

I have stayed in the Maya Hotel for sometime and would highly recommend it for location and as a friendly hotel. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast offering is great as they offer a huge variety of dishes for every taste. If needed they will also cook your choice freshly made. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. This hotel is a must if you are travelling to Jalandhar. We dont stay anywhere else.

Need new towels and new iron other then then everything ok good food good staff

Rooms are on smaller side. Bedsheets and towels need a MAJOR upgrade .They are Off white/ dirty white in color and Not crisp white as we are used to in western hotels . Room service is excellent . Morning breakfast is well organized and has lot of choices. Overall good place to stay for reasonable price.

After a few minor hiccups at check in and in the room (kettle broken, toilet had trouble flushing..) our overnight stay was lovely. The suite had 5 rooms, including another separate toilet room and dressing room. Restaurant was authentic both at dinner and breakfast. Service in restaurant was excellent.

I have used this hotel for the last six years and I have always found the hotel team giving their best.The manager Mr R Gupta takes an interest in the guests and goes out of his way to help the guests. This is the only hotel I have who do not take credit card swipe to secure the charges.

1) The Wi-Fi was absolutely unreliable, erratic and almost useless. 2) The electronic key card had to be taken to reception for resetting almost daily. 3) The room thermostat did not always respond to temperature settings
