Staff were lovely and great place for kids

The pillows were not the most comfortable (very flat) and the queues for the breakfast buffet and even a table to sit were very long. Also the music plays until 11pm (we have young kids so bit loud for us). We did come during the Easter holidays so I’m sure it’s not usually so busy.

I had reservations about this hotel reading some of the reviews, when we arrived at 8pm the hotel looked lovely, the staff were very friendly, the live singer performing outside was great and the reception area was spotless with a lovely fresh smell. Check in was quick and we went to our rooms again I was pleased with the size & cleanliness of it after the reviews, yes they are dated and tired in areas but clean! Plenty of storage, comfy bed and the best shower I’ve ever used! We were B&B and in my honest opinion if breakfast was anything to go by I’m pleased we chose this option. There was plenty of choice it just wasn’t for me. The hotel is down a steep hill to the front but once down there you have do many bars and lovely restaurants to choose from all reasonable prices. A lot of the bars do a pint of local beer €2. A few of our favourites were Seahorse, Luma, Waxy’s, Murphy’s & Skybar. The hotel is in a great area with plenty to do on the doorstep, a supermarket over the road and a twice weekly market on the car park behind the hotel. The weather wasn’t the best so can’t really comment on the pool area but it did look very clean. They do supply pool/beach towels which you can change as often as you want. All in all we were a party of 12 and had a fab time we all said we would definitely return to this hotel in a heartbeat.

We have just returned from our second stay at this hotel and again thoroughly enjoyed ourselves although the weather was unkind. Please see my review in November 25 which says it all but this time we found the food range and choice was much improved with more very welcome Canarian dishes and sauces. The soups were excellent and well liked mainly due to the weather. The only disappointment this time was the front bar entertainment which lost a lot of atmosphere probably due to being inside and lacking the popular Country and Western artists. Thank you to all staff and for allocating our previous room 415. We hope to return next time in the autumn.

Hotel itself was ok , breakfast was good , but the noise was awful , especially from about 9:30 when people were leaving the hotel during the night they must think its acceptable to wake everyone Our room was dirty tv didnt work one of the keys didnt work , dust on lampshades , under the bed was digusting , asked one of the bar staff for a coffee ar 8:50 very hasty said NO WE NOT OPENED UNTIL 9 !!!!! Couldn't wait to get home .

Very clean and tidy with lovely friendly staff. A very British hotel with stereotypical entertainment and food. The food was plentiful but felt very much for the British pallet rather than local and a taste of Tenerife. The All Inc wine was……free and that’s the best I can come up with! The cava was lovely. We had some stormy weather and the rooftop adults pool/bar was closed and this left very limited space to sit within the hotel. We only saw one evenings entertainment which most of the residents seem to enjoy but we definitely heard the others!! It was all finished before midnight so didn’t hinder sleep. The rooms were clean and comfortable

I am at a loss to understand any 'negative reviews' of this superb hotel. I was one of a party of 6 people (3 couples) who stayed there for a week all inclusive via Jet2. Check in was prompt and professionally executed and we went to room 304 (3rd floor) sunny side most of the day. The room was huge, impeccably clean with a super comfy massive bed. The bathroom was big, with shower and hand gels supplied. Big mirror, magnified wall mirror, his n hers sinks, hairdryer and ample towels (replaced daily). Powerful and hot shower/bath. The food was exceptional and we found lots of choice that would satisfy anybody. The tables, cutlery and all restaurant equipment were spotless. We thought some of the dinner choices were absolutely delightful. The top floor pools and solarium are adult only and the the bar served many alcoholic and soft drinks most of the day. The staff rightly deserve a huge complement, (with the exception of a couple in the dining room) they seemed happy in their roles, friendly and courteous. It appeared obvious that the restaurant training regime was of a high standard and adhered to by every member of the restaurant staff. The attention to detail was of a high standard and noticed by us. A big shout out to Will, Jennifer, Moises, Lisa, Roilan, Aziz and most others. It was my first visit to Tenerife and, although outside of the hotel was far too touristy for our liking to prompt a return, it does not detract from our hugely positive experience at GF Fanabe. I commend you for your exceptional service in making our stay with you enjoyable and memorable. Thank you.

Hotel clean.staff nice...pleasant atmosphere ...can get quite noisy after 11pm till 1pm from bar across the road beltin out karaoke competing with hotel enterainment resulting in mixture of noise...our room was at front overlooking road......we were bed and breakfast so cant speak for evening meal ..breakfast was ok but could be like a cattle market at times with volumes of people....i wouldnt put people off from this hotel just get a room away from front if you like your sleep after 11.30
