We loved it, went for walks on the beach, they have a heated pool, and three hot tubs, absolutely love this place

"Port Royal Ocean Resort"

The resort was close to the beach and the pool area was very clean and beautiful. We changed our original room because of close by construction noise. The accomadations they put us in were much quieter. The ocean view was great. My only issue was general cleanliness. There were candy wrappers on the floor when we arrived and there was a build up of dust/dirt on items and in the corners of the floors. The door to the unit showed signs of dents and deep scratches. The fabric on one part of the sofa was torn. All in All I would stay here again..

"Great family fun"

Clean rooms right on the beach with hot tubs and heated pool area. Great restaurants at the resort. Very friendly service. We had a great time!!

"Great family vacation"

We make an annual trip with my extended family. We have stayed at many resorts over the last 30 years, but Port Royal had something for every generation.

"Expected better for the cost"

Fire ants in the room, bed was comfy but the furniture in the living room needs updating, not comfortable. Brought a DVD and couldn't get it to play and the ice maker in the fridge kept melting and refreezing the ice so I couldn't use it. The pools are beautiful and well maintained and the staff were very friendly.

Beginning of down season so maintenance had begun - repainting, heavy cleaning, etc. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Great for families. A little on the pricey side. They recently did some renovations to the pool area and pizza shop (to pizza, wings and bar) that have really improved the overall experience and décor.
