Port Royal Ocean Resort & Conference Center

This place shouldn’t even be open in the condition it’s in. Much less charging what they are. Entire floors are gone the pool lols really bad with cracks around the inner decking. We were going to stay long but not at that cost for the bad shape it is in

We stayed in a condo on the 3rd floor for our girls weekend trip. We had such a great time and the accommodations were great for our group! We had a king bed, 2 twins and 2 roll away beds with plenty of room for the 6 of us. The pool is very well kept and maintained and easy walk to the beach! I only rate the cleanliness of the condo area at a 3 as there was trash left out on porches and not picked up causing the birds to get into with trash all over the place. It sat there for 2 days.

The suite of rooms that we rented was very spacious, clean, and convenient in every respect. It was the largest and the best one I've ever seen in any hotel or resort. It was basically a very nice two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo made available for short-term stay. The resort was just 300 yards or so from the beach. It had a decent-sized heated pool and a hot tub in the courtyard. There was also a huge unheated pool with a slide, but the water was too cold (we were there in December). I'm sure it would be just fine as late as early November. The property as a whole still showed the effects of a direct hit by a recent hurricane. I'm sure it will look much better in a few month, once the ongoing repairs have been completed.

This property has done a great job of getting back on its feet since the recent Hurricane Harvey. It’s hard to rate them, bc you hv to keep the hurricane in mind. Good: Rooms and balconies are huge! They are packed with everything you need. Washer and dryer was great. DVD player was great as well when it rained. Staff was WONDERFUL! They gave kids free sand pail & shovel and we all got freeT-Shirts. You can tell the staff is really proud of their property and the progress they have done since the Hurricane. Bad: They need blinds or curtains on bedroom windows facing the hallway. Lights from hall lit up our room all night.

Wonderful series of pools with family friendly amenities on the property and the suites. Our two bedroom suite was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Plus extra bonus that it was also dog friendly! Location was conveniently right on the beach. About a 10 min drive from town, but a couple restaurants (and swim up bar) on site make up for it. The hallways were still dirty and restaurants were temporary, but otherwise no disruptions in our stay from hurricane rebuilding.

We had an awesome time staying at Port Royal. They have done a wonderful job cleaning up after the hurricane. The 4 pools provided something for everyone. The walk to the beach was a panoramic view of nature.

This is our 2nd yr and i am happy to say due to reconstruction it was all goos vibes. We enjoyed our stay, staff is friendly and welecoming.

Great time ~ very clean

We really enjoyed the facilities..our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The pool was definitely the highlight for everyone. Beach was close by and well kept. The only thing is, I left there wondering if it was worth the money we spent just to have a great pool area??

The stay was very nice and relaxing. If you wanted to, you could spend the entire time at the hotel. We went into Port Aransas and took a dolphin tour and other activities.
