Port Royal Ocean Resort & Conference Center

The property was dated as stated in re iews, however the condo interior was really nice and nicely equiped. The pools and swim up bar were great. The beach is right there, that was beutiful. Staff was freindly and informative of places to go.

The pool area was kept very nice and clean. There were so many different pools to use we were never bored! The beds in our rooms were smaller than expected-expected queen size beds but two of them were only full sized which makes it hard to fit two full grown adults in

They are still working to rebuild after Harvey. The pool was fun and terrific, our Condo was a 2 bedroom 2 bath, large balcony,the only complaint I had is that when you walked on the floor without socks your feet were black, and had a hard time regulating the shower temperature, the bed was great, kitchen wonderful ,washer and dryer very handy. The best experience was the pool, and the restaurant was not open so they delivered the food .

My family is ready to go back! We loved everything about our quick little mini get away!

The staff at the property is amazing. They are all friendly and helpful. The food is also really good. However the property itself is in need of a major upgrade. The rooms are clean, just outdated. The popcorn ceiling give it a 1980s feel. The beds are comfortable. The remotes to the TV do not work very well. The outside of the property is in terrible shape. I do understand that it took a hit from Harvey but that needs to be said on the website. It looks like an old abandoned ghost ship. I did see a pile of boards towards the entrance so hopefully that is a sign of construction coming soon. The parking lot was extremely disgusting. At some point there was a mixture of water and car oil all over which made it difficult to walk. The elevators are terrible. In fact they had to switch our room because both elevators in one building were broken. The pool would’ve been nice but the tree bugs are on attack. For the price we paid we could’ve stayed at a much nicer condo. Despite the excellent staff we will not stay here again due to the deteriorating condition.

Rooms are huge with a great balcony. Clean, peaceful, great getaway place! We’ll certainly be back to try that gigantic pool!

Clean,quiet,and family friendly. Friendly staff observing COVID precautions. Always enjoy staying here soaking up the sun and listening to the waves at the beach.

The resort’s pool and location on the beach are the positives. Resort is in a dire need of a redo and simply getting mold off the screens of windows would be a start. Not much improvement since before Hurricane Harvey. Roaches on the patio and one in bedroom were concerning, as well as the false eye lash still on the “clean” sheets. Management did call the next morning to come spray the unit and offered to change the sheets.
