Aussicht toll, Strand am Resort sehr schön, großer Balkon mit Stühlen und Liegen, gute Grundausstattung in der Küche. Parkplatz gleich am App., alles sauber.

Es gibt keine Klimaanlage. Das Sofabett war nicht für uns vorbereitet. 50% aller Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen/schließen. Alle Einrichtungsgegenstände waren renovierungsbedürftig(Ventilator, Schranktüren, Teppich verschmutzt). Auch wenn das Resort dafür nicht verantwortlich ist: die wild lebenden Hühner sind auch nachts sehr laut.

Loved the location and the walking paths nearby. We were also within a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Our room also faced the ocean, which was nice in the morning and during some of the showers

Prefer a second or third story, but not too disappointed.

The beach in front of the property is fantastic! I would give that, and only that on this property, a five-star rating. About 2-3 miles of an empty gorgeous sandy cove with perfect hard sand for walking; swimming on calmer days was also lovely. Very few people and gorgeous Kauai views. The location on the island was also very convenient, about half-way between Princeville and Poipu, so it made it easy to see many different places. We liked the proximity to Kapaa which is a cute little town with restaurants, food trucks, shave ice and shops (but heavy traffic!). The larger property area was well maintained and clean and we actually liked the chickens and cats everywhere!

The main complaint I have is that we rented (and paid handsomely for) an 'Oceanview unit' - what we got was not even close. Totally false advertising. The unit we received (#102) was on the bottom floor of a building that was in a sort of dip on the property, so we could only see the tiniest sliver of ocean above the bushes. Definitely NOT an ocean view and not at all what I was expecting. (The included photo with the palm trees at sunrise is supposed to be our ocean view. If you zoom waaaaaay in you can see a tiny bit of water above the bushes.) The unit was also VERY tired and rundown. It obviously hasn't been updated since originally built (other than maybe a new bathroom vanity). It smelled musty, the furniture was stinky and there was rust everywhere. Towels and linens were old and well loved. Granted, a lot of that has to do with the weather, but there are ways to mitigate some of the grossness. Part of the problem is that when you rent through Booking.com, it's more like a hotel where they pick the unit you get. The pictures shown on the booking.com website are NOT the pictures of the actual unit. We didn't know which unit we were in until check-in. Be aware and book through vrbo instead so you deal directly with the owner and get exactly what's advertised. The other thing we didn't like was the specific location of the property. It's sandwiched in-between a campground (which some unhoused use as their full time residence and their tarps, etc. are on the beach) and a sanitation plant of some sort. Several times a day when the wind changed there would be a horrid smell. Had we been in a nicer unit (upper floor, well maintained) we might consider going back, but would definitely NOT return to this specific unit, or book this property with booking.com.

Excellent location, very communicative personal , great pool area to hang around in . Resort is near to Lihue airport and very easy to order transfer .The ocean view and the beaches nearby, we all enjoyed that stay . Thank yoy for all !
