Rodeway Inn Muskogee

I have never taken the time to fill out a questionnaire, but this place is absolutely horrible! Appears that I was the only one who tried to stay at this motel for good reason. Walked into the room and it looked like a bed bug heaven. Walked back out to get my money back with no luck. Ended up staying at another motel which was 100 times better and did not have to worry about taking critters home with me.

Room had a really bad musty smell that seemed to set off my allergies. Also the beds were not comfortable at all so I did not sleep very well. No extra pillows or blankets provided in the room. Old fruit and only 1 choice of prepackaged tiny Pasteries for free breakfast

I went for continental breakfast at 8:15 no coffee went back at 8:30 NOTHING. Bare minimum of pastries and cereal. Should have had fruit at least. Milk was sitting outside instead of in the fridge.

Opened microwave and found leftover food! Mold in the bathroom. Everything was dirty. Electrical was sketchy.

THe hotel room I was assigned too (room 108) was infested with BED BUGS!! They denied having bed bugs although I showed them the room and they refused to give me a refund. I didn't get any sleep at all due to this. Very disappointing

The picture on the website looks WAY better than the hotel actually is. Very sketchy area

I had reservations for four nights. After the first night, I found bedbugs and cancelled the rest of my stay. The desk clerk was very nice. The owner tried to just move me to another room. I should have read the previous reviews! Do Not stay here!

We needed to be in Muskogee for something going on the beginning of June, we found a special rate at the hotel 8 there and decided to take a chance, I used to stay in hotel 8's a lot when I traveled the last three times ive used them now have been so disappointing ive felt like ive just wasted my money..three times in the LA area and now here in Muskogee Ok. check in was ok people were nice, we got into our room no problem, it smelled of very strongly of pine sol and also smelled as if it had flooded just recently a nasty wet smell, the bathroom might as well have been a closet, the toilet must have been a childs it was so small I have never seen a throne that small, neither of us would barely fit on it and everytime you sit down to do your business you would hit your head on the door knob so you had to make sure when you went in to the bathroom you closed the door, the bed was so uncomfortable neither of us could sleep ive got a bad back so it was excruciating, we finally got through the first night, got up and did what we were there to do, went back to hotel and decided we could not take another night of the bed from hell, we packed up and I went to check out, told them about bed and room smell, they didnt know how to check us out? Said we would have to contact aarp trip advisor I handed her the keys and said well we are gone just so you know and left to drive back home, no offer to make it right. BEWARE..

we stayed one night, and that was all we could have done. the room was stuffy, the pillows were flat, the tiny towels were hard, the "breakfast" was 2 types of stale cereals, but no milk. on the plus side, it was relatively quiet, very convenient to our venue, and the room did not stink, which I expected after seeing it. next time, I will most likely stay elsewhere.

Bed was comfortable. The room was small not as pictured. There was no chain lock on the door.
