Al llegar a la habitación olía muy mal, vi mascotas en las habitaciones, le falta mantenimiento, el hotel es viejo, la alfombra estaba muy sucia le falta limpieza

This was the worst Motel 8 I stayed at on my drive from the West coast going East, and I stayed at many good ones. I reserved in advance a single king on 1st floor for disability and pet, for 1 price. Greeted at door by a friendly resident fella smoking continuously who followed me in to find out everything about me. Upon check in I was told nothing avail on 1st fl. only 2nd. It was obvious they were reno-ing the property and 90% of the 2nd floor was covered in plastic. Upon opening the door I was hit in the face like a shovel with a smell like a barn stall; tried opening the window which was screwed shut and the AC didn’t turn on. Returned to Blake at front desk saying not acceptable. He the “found” a double on the 1st floor I could have that had no workable TV after many tries with various remotes from different rooms that if they had batteries, were not programmed to that TV. So I gave up, and had a fridge that barely kept anything cool. My “greeter” left his door open to the hall all night as well as the back emergency exit remained propped open all night giving no sense of safety to a woman travelling solo. Anyone could walk-in at anytime. Upon check out my price had increased by $10 as I was up charged for the double room I was moved to because of the unacceptable room I required to be moved from. Upon complaining Blake, who was still there from the night before, (maybe he lived there too?) said his manager would review and get to me by email. I was spammed by 5 copies of the same invoice with the higher price. Which I intend to dispute. On my way out my smoking “greeter” commented on a piece of my anatomy which he felt was exceptional. That was the highlight of my stay!

I stayed 4 nights. My first room had a bathroom ceiling absolutely covered in black mold. The second room had spotting on the mattress as if it had one time had bed bugs (which i get, every hotel room ever has had bed bugs at one point or another) but at least get the mattress cleaned to get rid of any evidence. The third room was a newly renovated room which was great except for the details weren't there. Grout was black. AC filters was Clogged with dust. Mattress protector soiled. Remote held together with tape. The Lobby smelled of ethnic food each day and had this horrible vine growing throughout its entirety. The photos on Wyndhams website show a clean and simple lobby. This lobby was overcluttered, dark, and like someones messy living room. The breakfast area tables were so sticky as another guest pointed out recently. Im giving 3 stars because they are renovating so there is investment back into the property however if you're going to spend probably $2,000 a room on renovating, At least change mattress protectors and clean AC filters. They were sweeping carpeted stairs one morning (which are threadbare) to clean them... Vacuums are cheap.

Worked out great for us while working in the area. 3rd time I have stayed at this place because of convenience.

The beds were comfy, even the pillows. And the included breakfast was nice

The standard sized beds. Would have preferred queen. But it was a last minute booking, so I can't complain too much
