Super 8 by Wyndham Logansport

My husband made a reservation for a week's stay and received my confirmation with the total cost of my stay. Upon checkout, they increased his bill due to "occupancy". Doesn't seem right that he agreed to an amount, and they feel they have the right to change certain days' rates. On top of that, a couple days he had to take cold showers when he complained he found out that the shower knob was on backwards. Then one day he returned to his room and they had been in, they turned his air off, unplugged his phone charger, and his medical device. WTH. He returned after being out in the 98-degree days to a room hotter than hell, and where do they get off touching his medical device? They DO NOT KNOW what unplugging his device does or doesn't do. If there is a special way to shut it down. The machine saves medical information for his doctor.

Water pressure for shower was poor. Our room smelled musty. Tables in breakfast area was very sticky. The microwave and refrigerator and TV didn't work but it was resolved.

The breakfast area left a lot to be desired. The sitting area tables were so sticky the napkins stuck to them.

$140 for a hotel in the middle of nowhere under construction. Our room was still covered in dust from the construction with no explanation. This isn’t on the staff, it’s 100% on Expedia and the property owner for not giving the patron a break. Hey, the refrigerator didn’t work in the room either…again, whoever owns the place is a penny pinching jerk and if this room was $60 I would have never said peep. $140?! I’m the idiot for sure. People should just spend that money on a sleeping bag and stay under a bridge, it’s about the same kind of vibe with more fun.

Dunkin Donuts across the street for when the breakfast disappoints you. Friendly folks smoking out front. Desk attendant was welcoming, if still in his teens.

Definitely had some sketchy neighbors, one whose cursing I could hear through my adjoining room door. If there are empty rooms why did I get an adjoining one? I did not feel completely safe alone in this place, but what did I expect for the price?!

First time staying there ins some time. As I remembered, the staff were cordial and accommodating. Service staff went out of their way help and assist. Facility was under renovation. Changes to room made them more comfortable. Area around the immediate outside could use some sprucing up (butts, etc.)

Tub was clogged, pillows were old. Very noisy

Suitable for a short stay, lots of restaurants and some shopping in the area. Host was accommodating when we forgot to leave the key at checkout.
