Heartland Hotel & Suites

My daughter and I stayed for a night when we were in the area for a college visit. The hotel was very clean and we felt safe. The staff we encountered were friendly and kind. Breakfast was very basic but met our needs for something quick.

Nice quiet little hotel- A bit dated but for the price it was good.

The hotel is simple but well appointed, with good breakfast selections and accommodating staff. It's within walking distance to a hospital which is a plus. I have to mention it's in a rural location with a very strong livestock smell outside which isn't their fault. It doesn't stink inside, which was a blessing.

Good value, comfortable bed and clean

Should have a free source of ice. There was an option to buy ice but I tried and there was none available.

Our check in was quick and efficient. The room was nice, however, it was difficult to regulate the heat to a comfortable temp. Overnight the heat kept kicking on making it a little too warm to sleep comfortable. All else was great.

The hotel is located an easy driving distance to our family in Rock Valley. It is very clean and comfortable. The waffles were awesome on the breakfast bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Although the waffles were great, there weren’t many other choices for a hot breakfast.

This was a nice quiet place, very clean, and the staff helpful. The only thing I don't like is that if we want ice we have to buy it, and most of it is frozen into one hard chunk.
