Great for family!

Staff was very nice and very helpful

Comfortable bed, decent price!

Upon check-in, was told breakfast would be available between 7:00-11:00am. Packed up and went down for breakfast at 7:45am and nothing was available. Staff said they overslept. We left without breakfast. At check-in, I asked where I could get ice, attendant said they could give me a bag of ice. Asked about ice as I was leaving and was told they were out of all the plastic bags they use for ice. Maybe we just shouldn’t have woke them that morning, I’m not sure, but we wasn’t very happy when we left.

The chair in the room had some very noticeable wear.

We initially planned to stay at the Grand Stay Hotel which was booked on the night we needed, so we booked room with the Heartland Hotel and Suites. Our room was clean and neat. Bed was comfortable. The toliet paper, behind the bathroom door isn't the most convenient. The towels and washcloths were fluffy and clean. However, the breakfast left much to be desired. On Sundays, they don't open the breakfast bar until 7 am. I guess other days, it opens at 6 am. There are several of us waiting at 6:50 am and the staff person walks in at 7:07 am! She has problems with her keys...can't unlock the main office or the room to the breakfast foods. It takes her about 20 minutes to get things set up, not that there is that much to set up. What was offered: a few mini muffins, bagels, granola bars, white bread, 2 kinds of cold cereal, some packets of oatmeal and the usual waffle offerings. In the frig was 1% milk, cream cheese, some yogurt, a few apples, a half full jug of orange juice and half full jug of apple juice, both of which were quickly emptied. Then she forgot to set out the plastic spoons, knives and forks. We had to ask for those. If you are going to offer breakfast at 7 am, it should be set up by 7 am, not 30 minutes later.

I wasn't given the floor I wanted, ants crawling around on vanity, burnt out light bulbs.my room was right next to front desk...way to much noise and talking by hotel personnel and travelers...not quiet at all

If I ever visit this area again I would choose this hotel as my 1st choice. I know check in was 3:00pm but I was ready to get checked in and get me some much needed rest I called the hotel and asked if I could check in a little early I was told to come on they would have a room ready by the time I got there. Ellen and her staff were very friendly and professional.

Will not be back to this motel
