Really clean and good place to be
Very smelly and dirty. People were fighting loudly in their room. The only reason I stayed there was because it’s located just a black away from Knott’s Berry Farm.
Only reason I put down 2 stars was for the late night receptionist who tried his best to help. All the fabrics are stained/dirty looking, furniture had graffiti on it, they didn't give us enough towels, blankets or pillows. Shower/bath faucet was disfunctional. Tv broadcasting was limited to about 10 channels and TV was cracked. The worst of all are the the sketchy transients, tweakers, traffickers and dealers that are always being loud and causing disturbances. Was told the Jacuzzi worked and it wasn't when I got there. Only reason I stayed at this place was because I was tight on money. But avoid this place and go the extra 30 bucks if you can, it's not worth it, especially if you have children with you. I will not be going back!
I’ll never stay here again, and I’ll tell everyone I know who is planning on staying here in the area not to stay here.
There was kids running up & down the hallway screaming, seems like they “live” there. Had to tell front desk to make them stop as this was nighttime and my child was asleep. Other than that, okay place to rest.
When we arrived place was littered with trash on premises children were running and screaming throughout hallways drug addicts were hanging out on the premises room wasn’t cleaned smelled of mold and smoke tub was filthy with ring of dirt and floor was unclean as well walls had holes and writings
It was a comfortable stay for the price.
I liked how secure the property was. The housekeeping and staff were awesome! They went above and beyond, I would recommend The Berry Inn and give it 5 stars. Thank you for all your help.
This particular establishment as a pretty large problem with transients in the parking lot at all times. Wasn’t sure what type of “deals” were going down, but it was a little unnerving. However, I’ve never seen a guy who looks like a pirate walk around the parking lot for so long in a row but in my life so that’s a thing. The room itself was acceptable however, the chairs in the room were quite filthy. The bed was clean. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay and don’t mind the sorts of things, then it’s fine. I had no problem with security or interactions however, probably not the best place for a family.
I made this unfortunate reservation for visiting family. Twice when I came by there were people who made me feel unsafe loitering in the front, in the parking lot, by the trash bin (need to drive by to get to restaurant), and hallways. I witnessed two people exchange money and small item near the entrance, just an observation not sure what they were purchasing. I was disappointed because good location and had thought the area was being cleaned up.
