Sintra 1012 Boutique Guest House

Karen and her team were fantastic. Great location, good price and very clean room. We also had a great breakfast.

This is such a great property. It is beautifully restored, convenient to the old town while still being quiet. The rooms were beautiful and the water pressure in the showers was great!

Beautiful place, very courteous staff! Wish we could have had another night there! Loved the upstairs lounge! Great location for walking to restaurants and to catch bus for castle/palace tours! Would love to stay here again!

Amazing breakfast

Karen the host was great and very personable, we had an early train the next morning and they even gave us a bagged breakfast to go!

We received a room that was nothing like the room we were shown at booking. The breakfast room was very cold as was the room at check in.

Karen was a great host. Available and helpful with every aspect of our stay, from giving an upgrade, breakfast, local travel/tour arrangements/advice and generally a very nice host.

Karen and her team are attentive and knowledgeable. We booked a room in Sintra for three days and it was adequately furnished with amenities but smaller than we expected for a longer than overnight stay. The room was very humid and there was condensation collecting on windows daily. Our books warped from the humidity, could have used a dehumidifier, but maybe it was because of the unseasonably warm weather? Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options.

I stayed in a room where the sink was used by Queen Amélia (First, I thought the sink was dirty since it was stained and then realized there was a note saying that the sink was preserved due to that so I felt silly). The room was big enough and the bathroom was huge. Only downside is the shower. There is a curtain that sticks onto you and as others have said, you accidently knock over the handle, you can either burn your skin or freeze. No in between lol. The location is great. It's close to the small downtown area Sintra has. You do have to go down a non-suspecting alley to reach the Boutique and the rooms are located in a separate building not even a minute further. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, lots of choices.
