SOWELL HÔTELS Le Pas du Loup

The hotel was probably good value as it was all inclusive and the food was well prepared with lots of options but the overall standard of the hotel was not very high. I didn't see any nicer hotels though and I think the resort is missing a hotel of a much higher standard. The resort was nice and perfect for children or learner skiers. Our daughter loved it.

Excellent position, good selection of food and plentiful drinks, let down by lack of room cleaning, towels and toilet rolls. Check in was frustrating and longer than necessary, go for the superior rooms only, standard rooms are smaller and basic.

This is an excellent hotel in an ideal location being able to ski in and out. The all inclusive option is definitely worth doing. The food is plentiful and of excellent quality. Our only negative feedback would be that our room wasn't cleaned through out our 3 day stay.

Ideall location for short skiing trip. Could not fault hotel

Hotel is all inclusive and the quality of the food was above average. The buffet and desserts were excellent. Hotel staff very helpful and welcoming. Hotel opens out onto piste for skiing. Great stay for a 3 or 4 days ski break. We were lucky that the snow was in good shape.

Perfect location on the slopes at Isola. The buffets were excellent, with loads of choice. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We will definitely book for next year.

Having read other reviews, we were worried that the food would be poor but it turned out to be great! A good selection of buffet foods where you can pick and choose your favourite dishes, with excellent breads and good wine, and very tempting desserts. I suppose if you want waiter service cordon blue, this is not for you, but for us it was just what we wanted. The ski-in ski-out is an important feature, as it really is very easy, and the Intersport ski equipment rental shop was only a few metres from reception. We were in room 513 which had great wifi connection, and was comfortable though not huge, with a bath and plenty of hot water. Sound insulation was not great but it didn't disturb us much. The pool was small and we didn't use it but it had a great view onto the slopes. No dedicated parking but we were lucky and found a place close by, however someone managed to prang their car into ours which was a bad surprise but not the hotel's fault.

Good location, otherwise poor in particular ski storage facility (only a 2 seater bench available for whole hotel to put on ski boots), lunch buffet out for > 5hours, rooms small. Overwhelming smell of drains throughout hotel.

Very friendly. Had booked a room with a balcony but when we arrived we weren't given that. The reception desk were very helpful and immediately upgraded us.

Brilliant for a one night ski trip. Will definitely use it again next year.
